Buns Homemade Burger — Restaurant in Alghero

Buns is an amazing Restaurant that specialize in EXTRAORDINARY gourmet Burgers! Everything is homemade, including the BUNS ( with different flavors ) perfectly matched with the other super interesting ingredients. First things first, the location is very nice and cozy, in the city center of Alghero, the staff is incredibly nice and professional, Impossible to leave without a smile! While in Alghero I went to Buns many times, yes it was THAT GOOD, and tried some of their proposals:

APPETIZERS: SCIATT IN SARDA: I had never tried them and they were delicious, they are fried cheese balls, and the portion is very big, very tasty! Once I tried these, I could not resist ordering them every time I went back so that’s it for appetizers :)

BURGERS: MARE NOSTRUM: with fresh grilled octopus and a delicious homemade potato rosti , this was night 1, and this burger conquered me and made me come back every time I could! ESOTICO: Do yourself a favour and just try it, fried chicken, curry sauce, guacamole, I truly loved it. I could eat this one everyday and would not regret it. SEMPLICIOTTO: Amazing how you think you know how a classic burger tastes like and yet…I was floored! Try the homemade honey mustard on the fries as well, you will not regret it! GALANTE: this one is with grilled tuna, wasabi mayo ( very delicate), stracciatella cheese and it was like nothing I had ever tasted before! I normally do not like wasabi but the taste was very delicate and balanced perfectly with the other ingredients.

I was allowed to take a bite at the pulled pork my friend was eating and I wish I had one more day in Alghero to go back and have one for myself too! Definitely on my bucket list for the next trip!

I tried several desserts as well, including the cheesecake with salted caramel ( obviously homemade) and it was to die for! So Yummy and yet very light, you instantly want another one! The Cremoso all’Avocado is a dessert made with avocado and maple syrup! So original, I had never tried a dessert made with avocado before and it was a 10 out of 10!

I eat meat but it was very nice to see that all the burgers could have been made with a vegan option too!

The selection of artisanal beers and sodas was excellent and out of the box, finally some new options to choose from! They even have their own beer, a nice refreshing IPA named after the restaurant that I truly enjoyed!

I cannot wait to go back to taste the rest of the menu. Pro tip: You can usually get a table without reservation at opening hours , otherwise, book your table in advance, Word is spreading fast and for very...

Mi ritrovo a recensire questo locale per la pessima esperienza vissuta un mercoledì di agosto, ed esattamente il 2 di agosto. Metto la data non a caso, poiché è stato messo anche in dubbio, non so se siano i titolari o dipendenti, che fossimo già stati loro clienti. Comunque le cose vanno così, ci sediamo a prendere un panino e ordiniamo 2 birre, , chiediamo al cameriere e dopo averci illustrato le birre alla spina disponibili optiamo per una ipa per mio marito e una rossa per me, poiché l'avevo già presa una precedente volta, e per l'esattezza il 22 luglio, caro ragazzo, neanche 2 settimane fa se ti fai bene i conti dato che ci hai detto che erano almeno 3 settimane che non avevate quella rossa (per inciso ho anche delle foto fatte ai panini in cui si vede il bicchiere con la rossa), in ogni caso mi era piaciuta e ho voluto riprenderla. Bene, arrivano le nostre 0,50 e come assaggio sento un sapore strano, faccio assaggiare a mio marito, che ha la mia stessa identica impressione, e chiamo la cameriera per farle notare che quella birra era imbevibile, la ragazza, gentilissima prende il bicchiere, si scusa e va a farlo presente al nostro caro ragazzo, il quale si presenta con aria strafottente ed arrogante, dicendo che la birra era perfetta, temperatura giusta, schiuma eccellente e che nessuno si era mai lamentato, senza minimamente farsi venire il dubbio che qualcosa, in quel bicchiere che ci ha portato, non andasse anche perché, ovviamente, lui da quel bicchiere non ci ha bevuto. Mi chiede cos'altro mi potesse portare e prendo un'altra birra, ipa come mio marito. Ceniamo, chiediamo il conto e la famosa birra era sul conto, da lì nasce un alterco per cui, secondo i due genietti, cameriere e spillatore, dato che la rossa non era di mio gradimento ho inventato che non fosse buona, che "se si mette a non far pagare le birre che non piacciono andrebbero in rovina" e via dicendo, a quel punto gli faccio notare che proprio quella birra l'avessi già presa circa una settimana prima e che, dato che mi era piaciuta, avevo replicato. E niente, era da 3 settimane che la rossa non l'avevano, vabbè... Detto questo, cari ragazzi, non vengo certo nel vostro locale per fregarvi 7€ di birra, come avete voluto insinuare e a tal proposito mi viene in mente un detto "chi male pensa male fa", vedete un po' voi, oltretutto abbiamo preso anche i panini più cari del menù. Un po' di umiltà non guasterebbe di certo, si può sbagliare e si può rimediare, ma l'arroganza e la strafottenza no, un anno è lungo, i turisti vanno via e rimane la gente del posto, i vostri clienti per i successivi 9 mesi dell'anno. Accettate le critiche e fatene tesoro invece di aggredire chi vi va contro. E leggendo come rispondete alle recensioni di chi non si è trovato bene da voi, e come son sicura risponderete a questa (prendendovi pure la ragione), vi ripeto, umiltà cari...

My husband walked in and asked for a table, the waitress said yes just a moment.. then the owner comes and says in a very rude manner sorry no reservation no table! We are complete for the night! Later I see a few people walking in with no reservations and they are being seated.
