Super duper expensive - but very good Extremely friendly staff, extremely delicious pastires, but extremely overpriced (even for Italy). I'm sure the mark up is because they're in a touristy town like Amalfi - but come on? 8.50 Euro for three pastries? That seems outrageous! I would say of the three I was surprised to find that the Baba, was the best. The cannoli was disappointing, but not horrible by any means.

I was also disappointed that they had no seating inside. I had to wait for my acquaintance to come get me, as it was freezing that evening in the winter, and would have liked to have had a place to sit after having walked around all day, but..mah.

Again, the staff couldn't have been friendlier and that earns them points, and I would recommend at least trying the Baba if you happen to be in town. But a recommendation to them would be to lower the prices a bit; customers are more eager to try more things if the prices...

Great gelato and awesome older man who served me but when it came to paying for my icecream terrible customer service by the middle aged gentleman. I tapped and apparently it didn’t work (not rejected, just didn’t tap it long enough because it was busy and I was trying to get out of their way). The middle aged guy proceeds to yell out and humiliate me in the store. Almost insinuating I was trying not to pay for my icecream! It was insulting, I obviously had no idea and retapped. When I pointed out he was rude he proceeded to usher me onto my boat, ferry, bus, Sorrento laughing and flicking his hand etc. Completely unnecessary and certainly not a great customer service experience over a 5...

The worst waiter (or maybe it was even the owner) I have ever met. We asked to try a little spoon of caramel ice cream in order to choose what ice cream we wanted, he in very rude mode said no. Then we ordered our ice-creams and biscuits and asked for the bill: again he in very rude ways answered: the train will wait for you (italian not funny way to say “you must wait”). The ice cream was not even too tasty. Without tourism you will be nothing. Learn to be thankful to foreign visitor (that maybe will never come again in Amalfi) but in particular with local visitors to whom you are just a very rude italian man that doesn’t know how to run...

Pasticceria Savoia has a strategic position. It is located immediately at the entrance to Amalfi on the left. So that her exhibition is on display and in the eyes of all passers-by. Of course Savoia has been around for almost one hundred and fifty years. The family's great emphasis is on quality products. They still offer the great classics of Neapolitan pastries according to ancient family recipes. They also add new products. But everything must be of excellent quality. I must say that they succeed in this.

Just before going into the main square, don't miss this Pisticceria. There are so many great treats to choose from - from bite-size to full cakes. The main reason why I stopped in was to grab some gelato. The presentation of all their deserts is very well done, and I can attest to the delicious creamy gelato. You want to grab one here before you get caught up in the main square gong show hahaha - unless you want the lemon gelato in a lemon for three times the cost for your social media post hahaha.
