HummusPlantCafè — Restaurant in Ancona

Attratto dalle recensioni positive sugli aperitivi ho deciso di provare. È sabato, verso le 19, quindi in pieno orario aperitivo. Il locale però risulta inspiegabilmente poco fornito: pur presentandosi come un hummus caffè, gli hummus disponibili sono soltanto due dei quattro presenti nel menù. Sono conservati in frigo e il cliente li sceglie in autonomia: procedura comoda per un take-away, non altrettanto adatta per chi consuma sul posto, visto che l'hummus freddo di frigorifero risulta troppo compatto e poco cremoso. Non si riesce nemmeno a consumarlo agevolmente perché l'unico abbinamento che mi è stato proposto erano dei grissini di pasta sfoglia non adatti allo scopo, in quanto troppo leggeri e delicati, e anche poco friabili. Gli unici che erano rimasti, infatti, erano evidentemente rimasti esposti all'aria da molte ore, e mi sono stati offerti dicendo che erano "un po' sfigati" (testuali parole): non la migliore delle premesse. Lo spritz annacquato e scialbo non ha certamente contribuito a salvare le sorti dell'aperitivo. Il prezzo risulta veramente sproporzionato, dato che in molti locali con un drink a 5, 6 o 7 euro si riceve anche qualcosa da stuzzicare, mentre qui prendere un drink non dà diritto a nessun stuzzichino aggiuntivo, che va pagato separatamente e profumatamente. Consiglio vivamente di rivedere l'impostazione del locale, che magari può funzionare bene per il take away ma non altrettanto per...

I'm so happy to have found this cafe. It's such a gem. The owner is super nice and friendly. The cafe is beautiful and cosy. Even the cat is friendly! I had the hummus focaccia with nuts and rocket leaves. I'm not familiar with Italian food. It just tasted beautiful and airy - not just healthy but also delicious. The lemon melon and ginger juice is wonderfully refreshing. I don't think I'll be in Ancona again but if I were I would definitely...

A very small café and nice place to grab a coffee on your way to doing other things. It is a very tight space so it isn’t the best to spend a lot of time in or go with large groups but they have decent coffee and pre-made sandwiches and bites if you are needing something small to eat.
