Took a risk to avoid out hotel’s standard recommendation and see what looked good. Passed by and liked the vibe and took being busy as a good sign. It was really busy but the amazing staff still managed to seat us after a short wait. They even evicted a chancer that tried to queue jump our table. We were in no hurry so enjoyed the great atmosphere and very affordable drinks while patiently waiting for the food. It was worth the wait. Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was rather disappointing, especially considering it’s located in Italy. The focaccia was clearly old and reheated in either a microwave or a stale-smelling oven, which really took away from the authenticity. The cod was of poor quality – likely frozen and definitely not tasty. To make matters worse, the staff were unfriendly and covered our table with a look of resentment, adding to the overall negative atmosphere.
