Food poisoning!
We went there because of the good google reviews and regretted everything about it.
Summary: pasta was not „al dente“. It was literally hard. (Also not selfmade in case someone wonders) 15€ per pasta dish would have been reasonable if it would have been tasty at all. one dish with meat, the meat didn’t look good at all, so I decided I unfortunately cannot eat it. (Uncomfortable enough). The (also besides from that rude) waiter for some reason decided to „blame“ me and refused to take my plate away from the table when he took everybody else’s plates. the pasta with seafood caused severe food poisoning and destroyed parts of our vacation completely. two pasta carbonara were „okay“, as in terms of nobody being sick afterwards or not wanting to eat it at all. It still wasn’t great or delicious, by far no 15€ pasta. „atmosphere“: even though there weren’t many guests, the empty tables around were full of crumbs, used glasses and paper during our entire time. side note: the toilet didn’t work either.
All around - can absolutely not only not recommend, I would rather recommend you to go...

A nice surprise was a glass of free limoncello served with the tiramisu. The service was also impeccable, but ultimately 15 euros paid for the simplest possible pasta was a...
Read moreThis was our first visit to Bari. We had just finished a wonderful walking tour when we came across La Beuat. From the beginning to the end our lunch was extraordinary. Mariagrazia and Domenico, along with their amazing staff, created a welcoming, friendly and an inviting environment. It was like being in their home and sitting down with family. The orecchiette pasta with rolled beef was amazing. One of the regional specialties, carne di cavallo, was well prepared and delicious. We topped this delightful meal with a scrumptious serving of tiramisu and an Americano. Mariagrazia and Domenico provided a lasting memory of Italian hospitality. This is a can't...
