Se Ti Va — Restaurant in Bari

The experience, unfortunately, didn't live up to the high expectations I had set. While the interior of the restaurant is undeniably charming, with its warm, contemporary feel, the service was a bit lacking. The young woman at the front seemed unsure when I inquired about the temperature of the chocolate stout pudding. Her hesitation to answer made it feel as though I was asking about the meaning of life, not whether the dessert was warm. When the bill came, the cashier somehow managed to look straight through me, as though I were a ghost—despite being the only customer in the place. I couldn't help but feel a little invisible at that moment, which is hardly the experience one hopes for when dining out.

But let’s talk about the food, shall we? The much-anticipated chocolate stout pudding was a real letdown. The texture was dry—so dry, in fact, it might as well have been mistaken for a biscuit. And as for the chocolate, well, I suspect it had been overcooked to the point of irrelevance. What was supposed to be a rich, gooey center? A mere memory. There was no chocolate to be found, just the ghost of it lingering somewhere in the past.

In the end, what should have been a comforting indulgence was a disappointing misfire. It's a shame, because with a bit more attention to detail—from both the kitchen and the front of house—this place could have lived up to its potential. As it stands, however, I won’t be rushing back...

The products are good, no problem with that. However, as someone else has already written, there is a disgusting waiter. After we had our coffee, we wanted to use the toilet, but he wouldn't let us because he was cleaning, which I understand, he said to wait, just 10 minutes and I can come, but he was pretty angry. I said it was okay, I'll be back in 10 minutes, so we waited in front of the ice cream shop. More than 10 minutes passed, I went back and this woman said it was 5 more minutes, while she made faces and laughed at me with another employee. All this happened on 2025.05. 03. around 14:27, I ask the owner of the shop to check the cameras if he thinks about it. I don't recommend that people like this work in this place, because this will ruin the rating of the ice cream shop and customers will not want...

I forgot my phone on the table and came back after noticing 5 minutes later and met a couple who told me they had returned the phone to store one minute earlier, but when I asked if they had revived a phone and the person behind the disc told me they had nothing then I asked the other employee if they received a phone, and they said they would check in the back, after checking the still said they had nothing. I even tried to call the phone, but no one answered.
