Oh, let me tell you about this hidden gem of a restaurant—it's like stumbling upon a lively party in a secret spot! We wanted to switch up the taste buds from pasta and pizza routine and decided to shake things up with some lip-smacking burgers. And boy, did we hit the jackpot!
My taste buds were screaming for excitement, so I went all-in and ordered their classic cheeseburger. Let me tell you, it was a flavor explosion! The patty was made from the freshest, most succulent lean mince, and oh-my-grill, it was cooked to perfection. Juicy and delightful, my mouth was doing the happy dance!
Now, hold on to your hats because this burger had a cool twist—the salads were daringly perched on the outside! Talk about breaking the norms in style! Freshness and crunchiness in every bite, it was pure genius.
But let's not forget about the fries—they were crispy, golden perfection. No sign of any overcooked, sad fries here. Yum!
The staff was like a group of energetic friends, making our dining experience even more fabulous. With their friendly and prompt service, we felt like the center of attention in the burger universe.
Now, here's the fun part—the only little hiccup in this burger extravaganza was that, being so lean, it could have used a bit more sauce to get the party going. But honestly, it was still an absolutely enjoyable experience that left us wanting more!
So, if you're up for a burger adventure that'll make your taste buds boogie, you've got to check out this restaurant. Trust me; it's a one-way ticket to...
Read moreHORRIBLE! DO NOT GO HERE. I am American - this food was worse than anything I’ve tried in America. This restaurant attempts to imitate American cuisine and they do a horrible job of it. The pizza tastes like cardboard (worse than Pizza Hut or Domino’s) and there is not a single fresh ingredient on it. The pasta was BAD. It had an aftertaste of dirty dishwater. The waiter insisted we could not have tap water, and instead gave us a water bottle - and the charged us $4 for it! And I asked for basil on my pizza, but they brought it out with nothing on it - then I asked them to put basil on the pizza and then they brought it back out with oily pesto on it. AND they charged me $3 for the basil, which was never on it to begin with! A $23 bill ended up being $34 because of these BS charges. Lastly, the location is bad. You’re next to a parking lot, there is no view of the mountain or cobblestones or alley. It looked like a restaurant I’d see in America - absolutely no Italian charm to it. I have no idea who has rated this food so highly, but there are at least 20 better restaurants in town. We only went here because the other places had closed for the evening. DO...
Read moreIn a place that is absolutely rammed full of tourists, you'd worry about finding somewhere good to eat.
We chose this place on the basis that it didn't have a view of the lake, so they must have to try harder to win customers! They do a nice mix of burgers and pasta, surely to cater to the large number of Americans at the lake. But after four days in Milan and eating Pizza, Pasta, Pizza, Pasta – a burger was a nice change (I'm British not American btw).
The burger was very good, perfectly cooked and with hot, fresh crunchy fries. Exactly what you want. A burger isn't haute cuisine, but it can be done everywhere from very good to very bad and this was at the very good end. My vegetarian daughter had the impossible burger which she loved. My wife and other daughter had the caesar salad and lasagne and both were excellent. The caesar salad was a huge portion.
Staff were very attentive and the dining room was modern and fresh. Very much NOT the traditional local Italian trattoria vibe.
Pricing was very reasonable at around €25 per head with drinks. I think you could easily spend more in Bellagio...
