Cotolà — Restaurant in Bologna

If you ever want a snack, aperitivo, or want to try something different— this is your place! We are on vacation and wanna try all different types of food. We heard Bologna is famous for the street food among other things— after trying all the famous dishes, we decided to try something new. This shop has a cool and relaxing environment. The staff is super friendly, thank you to Diego who took his time to explain things and be hospitable. This was such great service. The Cotolà is delicious! It’s a cutlet in the shape of a taco so you can fill it with your favorite fillings. The fries were AMAZING. We shared the Petroniana and fries. So sad we leave bologna tomorrow, I would love to come back next time we visit! This shop is new and I wish...

We found this looking for tacos, but it’s basically crispy GF deep-fried “breaded” ham with the fillings they offer like prosciutto. Gluten-free restaurants can be hard to find in Bologna. Even harder to find something that can also accommodate dairy-free! They are about to get their certification for a gluten-free facility. There is an English menu on their website that you can find via QR code at the facility. Try a Petroniana with BBQ sauce and the amazing fries with garlic mayo. Next time I’m going to add the caramelized, onions and almonds to my order! I don’t normally like corn on the cob but that was cool thing to enjoy. Ciao! Free soda...

Dopo che un mio amico mi ha condiviso il loro posto tramite i social in seguito alla loro apertura, decido allora di venire provarlo a pranzo. Allora prendiamo una petroniana con prosciutto crudo e crema di parmigiano, ed una Opera con mortadella, pesto e squacquerone. Allora idea molto particolare e cotoletta anche buona e bella croccante, come dimensione devo dire che inizialmente pensavo fossero più piccole però alla fine sono grandi il giusto e anche ben farcite quindi ci si potrebbe anche riempire. Peccato per la crema di parmigiano che non l’ho trovata molto forte e peggio quella al pesto che non mi è piaciuta affatto. Poi anche i prezzi devo dire che sono un pó alticci perché 13.90€ per una sola cotoletta senza contorno e acqua non sono pochi… con menù viene 16.90€ però sinceramente e personalmente è un posto che verrei una, due volte, poi opterei per altro, sia perché non si possono nemmeno personalizzare, e quindi provare sempre cose nuove e sia perché il prezzo per una pausa pranzo al volo così un po’ influisce… Più che 4 stelle darei...
