Hanso — Restaurant in Bologna

I don't generally like writing bad reviews, and as much as I liked the smiles and warmth from the two women who greeted us, I must leave one here.

The main reason for it is the fact that we got a feather with our wrapping lettuce (I hope a chicken one, although I can't say it looked like it). After reporting it to the a waiter, he looked confused, and didn't react much besides. I can't confirm if we got an apology because the place is loud (in a good way, I liked the atmosphere), but it certainly didn't feel like he cared a lot. He replaced our salad plate. And that's it. Maybe I'm weird here, but for a miss of this level I would expect at least a more honest apology and a small token to show they cared.

The other reason is the fact they charge for banchan. For me, good and abundant variety of banchan is a big part of Korean BBQ. So in order to get that experience here, it adds up to your bill. Portions of it are also pretty small, so you'll probably need multple of them. They aren't pricey (2 euros each), but they do add up.

we discover this place passing by and we didn’t expect anything but it was really delicious. the meat was of good quality, very good service where they will help u out cooking if needed. the side dish and the sauces are part of the menu therefore don’t bother to order kimchi as we did. other than the Korean bbq itself they have some Korean main dishes which are good as well but spicy if you can’t handle it. you order through your own smartphone by scanning a QR code on the table. I would recommend to try it out once in a while also cause I found the service really attentive and cordial thus good...

Locale bellissimo, ben arredato, camerieri gentili e disponibili che spiegano tutto nei dettagli e rispondono gentilmente ad ogni domanda. Ci hanno servito cucinando per noi il cibo sul barbecue quindi in questo modo ci si assicura che la cottura sia corretta e che rispetti la tradizione coreana, diversamente da altri locali dove lo si deve cucinare da soli. Ci hanno servito degli antipasti omaggio che andavano composti arrotolando in una foglia di insalata dei sottaceti come il kimchi, il tofu essiccato, cetrioli, cipolle e altro e condendolo con salsa al manzo e salsa di sesamo. Le salse erano veramente deliziose e anche gli involtini, ho apprezzato molto. Come primo abbiamo scelto una bowl di riso con tartare di manzo e c’è la possibilità di evitare il piccante chiedendo di omettere la salsa piccante. Noi abbiamo scelto la teryaky come salsa ed era davvero squisito, con germogli di soia e altre verdure, lo rimangerò sicuramente quando tornerò perché era davvero squisito. Come carne nel barbecue abbiamo scelto della pancetta che arriva condita con salsa leggermente piccante e qualche erba e un altro tipo di carne, la pancetta buonissima, morbida e tenera, l’altro tipo di carne meno tenera. Anche queste ci hanno spiegato hanno mangiate avvolte nella lattuga e condite con salse ma le abbiamo anche provate da sole per assaporare il sapore della carne. Esperienza meravigliosa, tornerò sicuramente a scoprire il resto del menù vastissimo che inoltre è molto facile da consultare perché si ordina da cellulare. Prezzi nella media del barbecue coreano, niente da dire, ma comunque 25€ a persona per l’antipasto, due primi, i pancake coreani e due tipi di carne mi sembra più che giusto, anzi. Sono davvero tanto contenta e soddisfatta di questo locale: da provare...
