OSTERIA AL CANTONCINO (CANTUNZEN) SOCIAL FOOD — Restaurant in Bologna

Had a bad feeling after waiting for a seat. Should have listened to my gut. Ordered a taglietelle ragù and a cotoletta bolognese.

The pasta was half cold and stuck together. Seemed obviously reheated, maybe with microwave. Cotoletta was also soggy as if from microwave and tasted like a large chicken nugget. The cheese is obviously uneven and not melted from the photo. Left as soon as possible after finishing....

I came to Bologna for a trip. When I entered the restaurant, there was no one to serve me. I called the waiter outside the door and asked me to go to the cashier. There was no one at the cashier. I waited for another 2 minutes. There was someone at the cashier and asked me to sit down and wait. I thought the menu would be delivered to me. I sat for ten minutes, but there was no service. The worst food we have ever had in Italy!!! We could not even eat the food due to the horrible taste. Mushy “roast” potatoes (it’s hard to mess up roast potatoes), but they did. Meat tasted old and did not feel safe eating it. Pasta cold, hard and reheated in the microwave.

You are In Bologna where food reigns…do not waste your time or money on this...
