Pizzeria Trattoria Napoletana Zii Margherita — Restaurant in Bologna

The food was really good, especially the seafood pasta and mussels, but the service was terrible. When we wanted to order at 21:30, the server told us that the kitchen is closed and we can only get pizzas. When we said that we’ll just go somewhere else instead, suddenly we could order pasta and other things as well(?). We ordered a mushroom pasta, but got pasta with ragu and when we asked if this could be changed, he offered us a pizza instead since the kitchen was again not working. We got the pizza but never touched the pasta that was made wrongly. We have visited the place for the dinner with the group of artists coming from all over the world for art festival in Bologna. Reserved the spot for us in advance. We offered the meals separately for each person. The waiting time was about 20-30 minutes. When the meals started to arrive, some people received the wrong meal, not what they ordered. So they had to wait for another 25-30 minutes. The portions were small. Food was okay, but nothing special. The problem appeared when it was time to pay. We asked for separate bills, but we're given one for the group. After insisting for separate bills, we found that they overcharged us for about 40 euros! There were extra meals on the group bill, but they insisted us to pay still. Lots of shouting, scandal..so much stress. We gave them those extra money and left....

Ok there is a reason I didn’t give a five star. The pasta is a bit less portion than I expected for a €10+ dish The menu is QR digital menu which I can’t see what’s on the menu all at once that makes me confuse. Yes I know it’s Napoli. Maradona is like a god to them. BUT. Kim made Napoli win this time so at least they should’ve have a jersey or a picture of Kim Min Jae.

If you want to go do no hesitate for a lunch or dinner. The pizza is amazing. The dough, I want to chew forever. Calamari was very nice. Mild seasoned no need a sauce. If you want to order a pasta. I want to stop you right there. There are better pasta places with taste and portion in Bologna. Bologna pasa should be very cheap like €8-10. So go get a pasta somewhere else but if you want PIZZA?!
