La seconda volta che ci sono andata è stata un'esperienza terribile. Il personale maschile sembrava scontroso e non rispondeva a nessuna domanda. Ha persino insultato i clienti con gesti e occhiate perché indossavo solo una camicia a maniche lunghe e pantaloni non eleganti. Probabilmente pensava che non avessi soldi per pagare il cibo. Ti consiglio di trovare un lavoro diverso dal servizio. Essendo io stessa un'addetta al servizio, non importa quanto sia stanca, non faccio mai gesti brutti con i clienti. E Bolzano è una città molto piccola. Se si diffonde il passaparola, il tuo ristorante potrebbe chiudere presto. Non importa quanto sia buono il tuo cibo, nessuno vorrebbe andarci se il servizio è pessimo.

It was a terrible experience the second time I went. The male staff looked grumpy and didn't answer any questions. He even insulted the customers with his gestures and eyes because I was wearing only a long-sleeved shirt and pants that were not fancy. He probably thought I had no money to pay for the food. I would suggest you find a job other than service. As a service worker myself, no matter how tired I am, I never make bad gestures to customers. And Bolzano is a very small town. If word of mouth spreads, your restaurant might close down soon. No matter how good your food is, no one would want to go if the service is bad.

Mein zweiter Besuch war eine furchtbare Erfahrung. Der Kellner wirkte mürrisch und beantwortete keine Fragen. Er beleidigte die Kunden sogar mit Gesten und Blicken, weil ich nur ein langärmeliges Hemd und eine schlichte Hose trug. Wahrscheinlich dachte er, ich hätte kein Geld für das Essen. Ich würde dir raten, dir einen anderen Job als im Service zu suchen. Als Servicekraft mache ich selbst nie eine unhöfliche Geste gegenüber Kunden, egal wie müde ich bin. Und Bozen ist eine sehr kleine Stadt. Wenn sich das herumspricht, könnte dein Restaurant bald schließen. Egal wie gut das Essen ist, niemand wird hingehen wollen, wenn der Service...

Idea interessante, provato per curiosità. Eravamo in quattro e un solo piano cottura ci è sembrato insufficiente: poco spazio e temperatura non sempre costante. In alcuni momenti la piastra era troppo fredda e la carne finiva per lessarsi più che grigliarsi. Alcuni tagli, se non li si sa cucinare bene, rischiano di non rendere giustizia al piatto, quindi non è un’esperienza adatta a tutti.

Poca scelta di piatti già pronti dalla cucina, anche la gran parte dei contorni, come le verdure, erano da grigliare in autonomia. Questo ha reso il tutto un po’ monotono e faticoso, soprattutto se ci si aspettava un’esperienza più rilassata.

All’esterno mancava chiarezza sulle modalità…non era evidente che fosse obbligatoria la formula all you can eat quella sera. Personalmente, avrei preferito poter scegliere alla carta dei piatti preparati dalla cucina, senza doverli preparare da me.

Nel complesso, un’esperienza particolare ma che non ci ha convinto. Non mi sento di consigliarlo né di sconsigliarlo: semplicemente, noi quattro...
