Cielo Rooftop Experience — Restaurant in Cagliari

Terrazza Cielo on the rooftop of Palazzo Tirso is easily one of the best spots in Cagliari for sunsets. The view is incredible — overlooking the Via Roma promenade, the marina, and the hilltop old town with the Castello in the background. Truly postcard-perfect and super Instagrammable. I’ve been several times for aperitivos, and each time it’s been a great experience. The cocktail menu is solid, with some creative options, and the snacks are well-curated and nicely presented. I haven’t tried the full dining menu yet, but I definitely plan to — the setting alone makes it worth it. We were greeted by a lovely lady who then showed us to our seat and we asked for a seat by the edge so we could see the sunset.

We had some drinks before we ordered and then our waiter took us through the menu. The waiter took the time to explain and recommend and wow the choices were incredible. Every dish was unique and made excellent choices with the help of our waiter.

The staff are very attentive but not too much. The sunset was beautiful and we had the most incredible night. This is an absolute must, the staff are fantastic and the food off the scale.

Unfortunately, this was not a pleasant experience. The food was well below our average and with only about 10 minutes between each course. Drinks took an average of 20 minutes to arrive, and the water was served pre-opened. Despite having plenty of staff, they didn't clear the tables; we had to ask twice to have our plates removed.
