I recently dined at Framento Pizzeria in Cagliari, located on the bustling Corso Vittorio Emmanuelle II, a tourist hotspot filled with a variety of restaurants and shops. The atmosphere inside the historical building was warm and inviting, with a cozy, homey decor that made our large party of nine feel comfortable and welcome.
The staff at Framento was friendly and bilingual, which was a huge plus for the English speakers in our group. Since we had a sizable party, we were offered a tasting menu of various pizzas. While this initially seemed limiting, it turned out to be quite agreeable as everyone enjoyed the selection.
Framento's drink menu focused on beer and wine, but the options were extensive and well-curated. We were delighted to watch the expert pizza crafting in their open kitchen, although it did get a bit warm in the dining area. The pizzas themselves were delicious, boasting a fantastic crust, well-balanced sauce, and high-quality cheeses and toppings.
I will say that some of the pizzas on the menu were a bit too experimental for my taste, featuring unique ingredients like pistachio butter, cream of lemon, and an abundance of leafy salad options. More traditional meat, vegetable, and cheese options would have been appreciated.
The price per person, at 18 Euros, seemed just a little bit high considering not everyone had a drink and each person received less than a 30cm pizza. However, despite these minor drawbacks, the overall experience at Framento Pizzeria was enjoyable, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy atmosphere and tasty pizza...
Read morePizza is not made with proper wood oven fire like you see in real pizza restaurants. It is like a normal oven to cook pre-made pizza - my husband saw when he went to the bathroom. It tastes like bread with tomato on it.
The guy at the entrance is a total mistake. He kept seating people (including us) in the aisle or by the stairs in an empty restaurant, all people got upset. When one couple said “we booked a terrace, dont you have one”, the waiter said “no” without further explanation and left. Total weirdo.
We asked “spicy oil”, they said “no”, again without any explanation. First time in my life I see a pizzeria without spicy oil.
The WORST part, they have a weird loud hard rock music inside. Almost hoping to kick people out as soon as possible. The un-hospitality level of this restaurant feels like crashing into a teenager boy’s room.
The owner clearly cracked the code of fooling summer holidayers with cheaply made and reasonably priced pizza, impressing with decoration and location, BUT it is a total failure. At least put a nice music, professional adult staff who knows how to communicate more than forest language and a spicy oil to maintain a pizza restaurant “show”.

Read moreI read somewhere the pizze were very good, and this location was ranked among the best pizza in town, well…yes I know, there’s bunch of pizzeria that worth to be visited and one can not really say « hey it’s the best here », never mind.
Regarding my experience, the pizza I took was good, the ingredients put on it was tasty, especially the Sardinian sausage and the cheese :) But the dough wasn’t that good, in fact, i may be mistaken but it was a bit too cooked on the edge. Normally, and I don’t know about your experience, normally I eat everything in a pizza, and I let nothing left, even the edge of the dough but this time I couldn’t eat because it was too cooked and solid. And this make me think that the cook was not perfect.
But the staff is kind and the atmosphere really cool since in the Main Street Cagliari, very vibrant with a lot of coffees and restaurants and people.
You may try and make your own experience :)
Thank you...
