Had the full tasting menu, 5 starters, 2 first courses and 2 second courses and the recommended accompanying white whine. Followed by really lovely desert.

Food is a mix of traditional cuisine and modern interpretation of the same. Each dish, that we were served , was better than the one before. Did not think that was possible after the first 2 or 3 dishes.

Staff really welcoming, friendly and looking for your wellbeing. One really does feel welcome there.

We went strolling through the city looking for restaurants, found this place that looked special. They were just preparing for evening service and we asked for the menue to have a look. They explained their food concept, and we told that we were looking for something traditional that evening they even recommended a place to go. Obviously we did reserve a table for the evening after. Overall it’s not a great experience even though the waiter was nice in the beginning. Another couple arrived after us, but because they knew a friend of the owner, they gave them priority and served them first. We waited almost half an hour before they took our order, the wine serving was the equivalent of three gulps, and there’s a hidden “service fee” of €5 (which could’ve been ok if the service is quick). There was a free table inside, but was told it was reserved so got eaten by mosquitos outside instead. Oh and the food was nothing special they could hire another chef and more waiter . One waiter is not enough to accommodate all guest! Customer service is about giving the best customer service for the customers. Wow wow wow! I had a prefixed lunch and although I don’t speak Italian they did their best to accommodate me by having a coworker across the way come translate. There was so much food.. I thought I had eaten everything and then they brought out the main course! I have a black rice-like dish that was so intense of the deep sea it tasted like a dish prepared for Neptune. Such a varied seafood experience! Almost too good because now I’m not sure this place can be bested and it’s only the beginning of the trip!
