Pleasantly surprised by the quality I didn't really want to eat here at first, because it was right in the middle of the tourist trap and I always avoid restaurants in tourist traps. 1. because they are always more expensive, and 2. because the quality of the food is almost always poor. I wasn't able to find anything else available that evening however, and I was starving by the time I was seated at this place, as it was already after 10 pm. I was pleased with the service, and with the food. The food was actually some of the best I had the whole time I was on my short trip to Sardegna. I had a problem with the B&B where I stayed though, and that is owned by the same person as this restaurant. While he was a nice enough man, I will be writing my review for his B&B that has a much different rating. This restaurant had average-high prices, but the food was very good. As I said, the wait staff was very friendly and helpful and I found the waiter that I had to be very honest with what type of traditional Sardinian food I should order - and it turned out to be delicious! I would certainly recommend this place.

Restaurant opened at 08:00 and already people started to fill the restaurant. Nice welcome, smooth seating and menu presentation. We decided not to go for the daily catch, a 1,2 kg Seabass but order individually. We ended up with a Tuna Salad, Tuna Tartar, Linguini seafood as appetizers, and a seabream, the suckling pig with potatoes and a gnocchi style seafood pasta, all supplemented with a bottle of local white house wine. The waiter was really fabulous and made such a difference. Very engaging, professional, and generous offering us three glasses of the local after-dinner schnapps. The patron, a young couple, realized that we were from Asia and they frequently travel to Japan and south East Asia, and graciously offered another round of schnapps. Our bill came to 110 EURO, best value for money so far. Great restaurant to recommend!I It seemed to me the owners empowered their waiter, and he made all the difference. We realized that there are several restaurants of the same name, in town as well as in Pula town – not sure if they are related to the same owners but the names are matching. Great choice !

Food: We ordered oysters (amazing), Spagetti with class & troffie with lobster. The ingredients were amazing and fresh. The dishes were really tasty, excellent combinations and cooked perfectly. We couldnt try a lot as we are toyrists here, but definitely recommend this restaurant, to be honest 4,2 rating on google is really not fair. This is the first restaurant i review with 5 stars as it is a must visit when you visit cagliari, and honestly i would not have visited it if i was looking on googelreviews. This restaurant was recommended by locals, and they were right. The service was very friendly, they really tried to speak english with us :) The atmosphere was good, but could use low traditional music!

Tutto da rivedere. Ero già stato circa 3 anni fa invitato da persone del posto e l’esperienza era stata positiva ma la seconda (e ultima) visita è stata da dimenticare. (metà Giugno 21) Eravamo seduti nei tavolini esterni e già servizio quasi inesistente, l’unico ragazzo addetto all’esterno non riusciva a gestire tutti i diversi tavoli tanto che non siamo stati gli unici a reclamare attenzione per poter ordinare, come se non bastasse tutte le volte in cui arrivava al tavolo faceva scena muta come se scocciato fosse lì ad aspettare un input da parte dei commensali per poi fuggire verso tutti gli altri tavoli. Non commento come rispondeva a eventuali legittime richieste sul contenuto di alcuni piatti,al momento di ricevere il primo avevo ancora i piatti sporchi dell’ antipasto e ho dovuto far presente che magari era il caso di toglierli a meno di dover mangiare su una pila di piatti vuoti ( e sporchi). A parte il nervosismo e la professionalità pari a zero trasmessa dall’unico cameriere che abbiamo visto in tutta la cena, la qualità del cibo è pari a quello di una mensa (con tutto il rispetto per le mense che svolgono altra funzione): la fregola di vongole (che anche a voler dare beneficio del dubbio che non avessi letto bene, NON risultava indicata in brodo nel menu) era un brodo di olio/acqua inguardabile e ovviamente scotta, vedere la foto per credere. L’antipasto di mare? Una serie infinita di piatti neanche presentati quando serviti dal soggetto di cui sopra, forse quantità di una porzione valevole per 3 o 4 persone. Quantità sulla qualità e da qui la sensazione che ci si trovi in una mensa o tavola calda con prezzi da ristorante di qualità. Non è questa né l’accoglienza né la cucina sarda. Due stelle solo perché ho il ricordo di come fosse stata totalmente diversa l’esperienza tre anni fa nell’estate 2018,per il resto direi che è assolutamente dimenticabile ed evitabile.

A proper Italian restaurant with great food and excellent service. Whilst I like to mix up styles of restaurants I will never get tired of a proper busy classic Italian restaurant. This place just oozes class and quality! A mix of fish, meat and pasta should suit all tastes, all cooked well and very tasty. I went for the mixed grill which was perfect. We had our little girl with us and they quickly sorted her out with a tomato pasta. The wine choices were very good with lots of local options at reasonable prices. Dessert were of a standard type but still very tasty. Very much a place to visit during a start in Cagliari

We were looking for a nice place to have dinner and we found this restaurant, lucky we found a table outside because after we got the table many people started to arrive and they needed to wait for a table. Our waitress was Ana, who was able to communicate with us in English, big surprise because it’s difficult to find places where the services speak other language apart of Italian. She recommended us the Sardinian fresh fish which was delicious same as the wine that she recommended. Really nice place with not bad prices to be in the center (it’s not a tourist trap). Highly recommend. Thanks one more time Ana.
