They have menu sets for both seafood and meat, I had the 25€ euro set with an appetizer and a meat platter. The appetizer, a platter with cheeses and salamis, was great! The meat platter was unfortunately disappointing. Nothing interesting about it- some grilled meat, with no sauce, no herbs or seasoning. Out of the two skewers one was inedible as it was essentially burned into charcoal, the mutton chop (?? I assume??) was mainly fat with very little meat. For the price, I suppose, it was good, but I'd rather pay a little more for better cuts of meat and would really love to see it done in a more interesting way. Really, there was nothing about the food that stood out, but it was okay. Perhaps the seafood selection is better.
The desserts were nice, especially the Panna Cotta with saffron, creamy and flavorful! Tiramisu did not stand out, but was good as well.
What I must say was great was the service, the waiters were busy, but didn't forget about us- always interacting with a smile and life to them. For how busy it was, we really appreciated it. The inside of the restaurant is nice, however the women's bathroom was unfortunately not great and...
Read moreWaitress Francesca was so nice and welcoming. She smiled and welcomed us. When plates were removed with cutlery, by someone else, she replaced without us asking. She dropped extra bread. She checked in... just super!
We took the 25€ set meal. I am very happy with our choice.
Crab and zucchini lacked visible crab, but it was still nice...just couldn't see the crab in the fried balls.
There were indications that mussels must have been cooked as part of a larger portion/reheated..not sure because a few looked dried,...but they were still very nice and full of flavour. We enjoyed it anyway.
Octopus salad was good!
Fregola pasta was really good! So much seafood flavour!
Fresh fish was salted to perfection. Really liked it. The underside of meat was "mushy"... but I still ate and enjoyed it.
We would definitely return and recommend - I'm just mentioning little things that I think they can improve on....
Read moreGreat spot to sample traditional local food! I dined here with my wife and ordered two menùs (seafood and meat). We also had the mixed deep-fried seafood platter "a la carte", since it features additional items that you don't find that often in other restaurants. The fried seafood was light, crispy and cooked to perfection, and the portion was well enough over the expectations. My wife had "Culurgiones" has main, they were served with butter and saffron, whilst I order spaghetti with clams and mullet roe (a must-try for first timers). I'm Sardinian and know this dish quite well and can say without any doubts that this was one of the best versions I've ever had in my life. Finally, I'd like to point out that the menù doesn't have too many references...a marker that indicates fresh ingredients and good quality. Good value for money. Highly...
