L'Opoz Artcafè Restaurant — Restaurant in Cagliari

Well, I went there, astonished to be in a quiet side street where normally no restaurants are... Dared to enter the a bit shady looking place and found myself in a nice, very creatively made rock cafe with pop art/surrealistic pictures on the wall. And it was worth it from a culinary perspective: their homemade vegetable-cheese-balls, their steak, their warm chocolate cake and coffee - all delicious, high quality foods/drinks (first time I really enjoyed beef in Sardinia btw...). Loved it! My tip: start with a pint of Guiness while waiting for the food and listening to the 70ies rock 🤗 The rough-rugged Sardinia...

We arrived in Cagliari Sardinia late in the day and our AirBnb hostess recommended we try the restaurant across the street. We both had the steak with peppercorn sauce with both a side salad and french fries. It was really delicious and I couldn't get enough of the peppercorn sauce it was so good. The suggested local red Cannonau wine and the fresh Tirimisiu suggested by Valentino (Owner)...

Really nice local restaurant with late opening hours. Very much appreciated since we arrived late in Cagliari and wanted to have a late snack in the neighborhood. We enjoyed it so much that we came back several times. Really good food and very nice people...
