I have ordered a mixed fish grill. It was genuinely disgusting. The calamari was totally burned and tasted like coal, you could feel that the fish is definitely not fresh. The only good thing is that there are many gluten free options. Anyway, wouldn't recommend it, there are many better restaurants in Cagliari.
Edit
As I don't think I can respond to a response, I will do it here. Thank you for your response. Since I took it very much to heart, I decided to reply to it at the end of my wonderful trip to see if it is really "my problem." As it was the first time I returned food in a restaurant, I remember every detail of it. After the whole trip and eating in various restaurants, I conclude that unfortunately, it is not (as can be seen from my other reviews on Google). So, I will address your response.
I started with the tuna and have to say it was terribly dry. Instead of cuttlefish, it could have been chicken; it tasted and smelled like charcoal. My partner did not finish her plate; she left many things (mainly seafood). I am very glad her dish was edible, but I will not comment on it because I did not eat it. I am writing about my experience, not my partner's. Everyone can post their own opinion, just like the people next to us. Unfortunately, you cannot tell anyone what their opinions should or should not be. I do not know what you mean by saying it is my problem. I explained exactly what I did not like. Do you think I would order the "Mixed Fish Grill" for €25 if I did not like seafood? Do you think I would write such reviews if I had not eaten seafood before? Such remarks only scare away customers. If those €9 bother you so much (I believe €16 for what I received is still too much compared to prices in Cagliari), please send me your account number; I will be happy to settle the bill.
Best regards, wishing you...
Read moreI've lived in Sardinia for a year and have tried places with GF pizza accross the island. This is the BEST gluten free pizza I have had in my life. It is not just a good a gluten free pizza. It is simply a delicious pizza. Non GF pizzas are top quality too! You wouldn't be able to the difference.
Ingredients are fresh, dough is thin and light, like a classic Italian pizza, sauce is delicate but rich, the whole thing is perfectly balanced. I've even had a vegan no cheese pizza and it was great!
Additionally, they offer everything lactose-free too. Obviously it's not vegan but if you are intolerant it helps. They even have a lactose free, gluten free cheesecake which is wonderful. (And there are GF beers too)
Also their chips are fantastic. Right ratio of crispness to softness. I've heard the meat is great but I've never tried it because I'm addicted to their pizzas.
Now there are better places for a whole range of items that are GF, like MAN GIÀ in the city, who are completely GF. So they have more choices. However, their pizza isn't as good, plain and simple. This place has GF starters, mains, desserts and drinks too, everything you'd want, even if it's not as wide a range.
Finally, service is friendly, they're great guys, busy, but also happy to have a chat.
Id recommend booking ahead on the weekend. If you aren't eating on Italian time and you go early you'll find a table but otherwise you'll probably be turned away as it is absolutely packed! (with locals). Weekdays you'll likely find a space, but it also helps to call ahead because you never know what day might be a festival day here.
Top, 100% pizza recommendation...
Read moreVery delicious pizza, regular and gluten free. I will.rate place lower because I paid for my pizza 15e instead of 10,50 (7,50+3 for gf). We had a misunderstood, I ordered gluten free pizza with fries and I got only fries. I explained that I wanted pizza not fries and I wanted give fries back and get my money back for them. My boyfriend already had his food waiting for him. Instead I ordered Margherita and when I asked about money for fries she said no even though I gave them back. In the end they brought me margherita with fries ( again they didn't understand) and instead of explaining, owner told me that I should speak Italian. So in the end I got pizza with fries for 15euros and owner said that that's the...
