I have been there while I was having a short trip to Cagliari. And first of all I have to say: It was amazing!!! The owner is such a nice and generous man. The pizzas were amazing and the red wine he offers (typical red wine for the region of Sardegna) was great too!
First it was hard to find because its not directly based were most of restaurants are and there are no outside tables due to being in a small street. Inside there are only 3 tables, so we had to wait a little bit outside on some comfortable chairs while already having the possibility to check out the menu. Going to the restrooms would have been possible too while waiting. But it is possible to reserve a table ahead, which I would advise you to do (the owner also speaks a bit of English).
All in all this was my most Italian experience during the stay in Cagliari! The amazing Pizza, the great red wine, the delicious coffee he offered us after the lunch and the whole atmosphere with perfectly matching music to the beautiful ambiente... perfect! I would always come back to this restaurant when being in Cagliari again!
And folks, just that you know: I am German. So you may know that we Germans are known for being very crucial and looking on details :D I am telling this just that you know I am really doing this review because of how amazed I was by...
Read moreFrom entering to leaving it was a great experience. The chef and the very nice lady were extremely kind and positive people. We were greeted at the door to an incredibly warm environment with few tables which made this place even cosier. My wife ordered the pizza del giorno (nr.1 with truffle burrata) and I ordered the Atesina. Both pizzas were so delicious made with high quality ingredients. We preferred white wine from Sardegna which was proved to be a good choice. After the pizza feast, we wanted to try the housemade desserts, tiramisu and torta miserabile al cocci. Boy it was sooooo good! Especially the torta miserabile was such a refreshing new taste. We were asked how we liked the food during the dining by the chef and the lovely lady, which shows quality. Also the kitchen area is open so you can see the clean and diligent work there. This restaurant is far from greediness and is like meal at home with parents and friends and which is so rare to find nowadays. We would definitely go back to try some of the other delicious looking pizzas and to see the beautiful...
Read moreMy wife and I have never been treated this badly and made to feel so unwelcomed as we have here. Firstly, we were ignored by staff for 3min when first entering (only 6 tables in whole place, very small). We took initiative and sat down at a table with 4 spare seats, we wanted to share a table with another couple who politely confirmed this was okay, we were told by the owner that there was no space for us and that we should leave the restaurant. We were told 'this is a problem for me' when we politely explained that the couple said it was okay if we shared their table. I don't understand how this place got 4.9 on Google, would give it 0 stars if possible due to the way the owner/chef spoke to us. My wife was shaking and in tears outside. We are world travellers and have lived/worked/travelled in many eastern and western countries and never come...
