The food at this casual, welcoming ristorante (beloved by locals) showcases the glories of Sardinia’s bountiful coastline. No idea why this is so highly rated. It was not busy but we waited for our food for almost an hour. The dishes were ok, but mediocre- our family rated this at the bottom of restaurants we ate in during our 4 weeks in Italy. When our dishes finally arrived, one of us received the wrong dish but the waitress had left so quickly we had to wait for several minutes, then she returned to retrieve the dish to take it to the correct table. In most restaurants in italy I have struggled to choose which dish to order as so many look good, here I struggled to find a dish that looked appealing. Worst food I ever had. This place is a total tourist trap. We were served a cheese platter that looked like it had already been eaten from the white cheese. Then we ordered microwaved clams in red sauce, which were far from fresh. When I told the server the clams were bad, she took the dish away and didn’t care to come back with another option or even offer an apology. The pasta was very average, with tiny pieces of shrimp. To top it off, they served us jam in a packet, like the kind you get on flights. What kind of restaurant does that? Please avoid this place if you’re looking for a decent meal.
