Magna'cu'mme — Restaurant in Capri

Fraudulent business practice here, they have two different prices the menu inside is for "take out" or "locals" & the QR code is for dining in or for foreigners.

We checked the price & thought it was pricey for what it was & about to leave until we saw the more reasonable prices inside, although we double checked with the attendant that we will be dining in, with the lowered price on the board. We then ordered away & ate.

Only to find out that we are charged the higher amount. The thickskinned lying behavior was disgusting. There were more issues with us being overcharged one sandwich which did not get resolved.

Do not have two prices, promise to charge one and charge the higher amount afterwards!!

This is incorrect of you to do to tourists.

It only costs 1-2 euros for espresso in Napoli, we know better than to not drink one for 4 euros each.

This is fraud.

The food was just okay, not anything for you to pay...

The worst service ever ..

DO NOT GO THERE the rude young waitress shouted at the other table then did the same with us .. we were 9 person and there was 5 seats available outside so some of us sat and some stand alternatively .. we ordered 2 orders of icecream 1 bonbon dessert (enough for 3 person) 1 black tea 1 cream cafe 3 cold water and we stayed for only 20 minutes then the waitress came and shouted why are you this much of people with this amount of orders .. all coffee shops all around the world do not judge you for your amount of order unless its high class cafes with minimum charge and we ordered for each and every person without her help !!

She was loud and arrogante since she is the only person who speaks english so the other kind and friendly staff are...

During my winter visit to Capri, I stumbled upon Magna Cumme, and it turned out to be the perfect spot to unwind. Located near the quiet pier, the place offered a peaceful escape with hardly any crowds around, allowing for a truly intimate experience.

The food was absolutely delicious and the flavors were both authentic and comforting. The pastries, in particular, was exquisite.

What truly made this experience special, though, was the exceptional service. The two staff members running the restaurant were incredibly warm and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect, offering excellent recommendations and making us feel right at home despite the off-season chill.
