This is a place to go if you love wine and want to try some exquisite Sicilian wine. I fell in love with this place and it was both good and sad we found it during our last night in Catania. Me and my boyfriend spent a beautiful romantic date night here, drinking amazing wine and eating delicious food. The staff was amazing, knowledgeable about wine and willing to fulfill our wishes even if it meant looking for a bottle for 5 minutes. The first glass of wine was their standard price, around 6€. Afterwards, we wanted to try something specific such as natural wine or some really good wine from Etna. These wines were a bit more expensive, however, the staff notified us about this before we made our decision. We knew exactly what we were getting. Every glass of wine was properly presented, including the information on grapes and the winery, tasting of the wine and the price. The food was delicious as well! We had tuna carpaccio, shrimp tartare and a selection of 4 Sicilian cheeses. Each dish was tastefully balanced and complemented the wine. The presentation was beautiful as well.

If you are a wine lover and enjoyee, this is definitely a place for your relaxed evening glass of wine (or more).

That is why I do not agree with many of the reviews. This is a wine bar and the food they serve is meant to accompany the wine. Everyone going here should keep...

Such a cute place in central Catania, with a great selection of wines and cheeses. My friends and I really enjoyed the cheese variety, and the wines were exquisite. The Fina Kike was my personal favourite and I'm glad they do shipping (although I'm not normally into white wines!) . Going back to London my friend bought a bottle of the Shiraz (see photo) from duty free and my other friend will most likely be ordering the Fina El-Aziz which is a sweeter wine (see photo). Marco and Alessandro where very nice and welcoming, giving us a discount with a membership card for what was already a great price for the wine tasting - we paid 15 euros per person. The wine tasting was accompanied with great story telling from the lovely Angelo, and the perfectly balanced cheese selection was especially curated by the cheese expert Lorenzo. Federica Fina was there herself to introduce us to the history of Fina wines, a family run winery. The experience was on our last night in Sicily and we couldn't have asked for a better finish to a great trip - not...

We ate very well and drank great wine. Unfortunately the overall impression was spoiled by the staff who were initially at a very solid level, but after we ordered, something changed. We ordered a menu that included sliced salami together included in the price with a glass of wine, and that menu cost as much as it would have been if we had ordered it separately. When we asked for the bill, we were surprised to see on the bill that the wine was extra charged, two glasses of wine of 14 Euros. We kindly asked them to look at the mistake and the boss went to look and correct it. In the end, after a long wait, the boss did not bother to come, apologize and give the bill, but sent his assistant who brought the wrong bill again, halved 14 euros in half and rounded up the number. We paid without further inconvenience, but we were convinced that the Quadro ... are not honest and do not appreciate their guests. We were sorry, we expected only a human and normal...

The best place to eat in Catania, period. The service is remarkable, its in a cute street with a beautiful setting and the prices are very reasonable. Waiters are incredibly friendly and helpful, they will make great recommendations and come by throughout the evening to check on you. The food is top quality yet with very low prices. You get to choose from literal thousands of wines and get bottle or glass for any of them. The wines are on the pricey side of things and there is no menu so prices are tricky, but its worth the incredible quality and taste. The owner is present and checks up on customers as well. Fresh cold water is free and waiters will renew it all night long. They also give a generous bag of fresh hot bread for free as well. Overall, this was by far the best eating experience we've had in Italy and would recommend to anyone, its almost worth going to Catania just to eat here!
