Locale sito accanto villa bellini di Catania, la sala all'interno si presenta bene visivamente però purtroppo se si va a vedere nei dettagli si vedono delle pecche come i tavoli che risultano essere un po' spogli, sporchi e con i tovaglioni di carta, moscerini che ronzavano per la sala, il dispenser di sapone che pendeva in bagno(inaccettabile visto i prezzi del coperto), il menù offre opzioni di carne e di pesce abbastanza varie così come la carta dei vini che risulta essere bene fornita. Appena accomodati ci hanno portato del pane caldo molto morbido, ho pranzato prendendo un antipasto dello chef che comprende sia piatti freddi che caldi, porzione abbondante e crudi molto buoni soprattutto il tonno che si scioglieva in bocca, come primo tagliolini all'astice (porzione pasta un po' scarsa), la pasta è stata cotta bene ma purtroppo era moolto oleosa, quasi annacquata nell'olio, nota positiva, l'astice che era abbondante (metà per la precisione anche se congelato secondo me), come secondo sfincione di pesce spada, un po' secco il pesce spada, condimento che a mio avviso non dava sapore ma lo rendeva una poltiglia, il tutto accompagnato da un calice di vino bianco che era abbastanza buono e delicato. Il tutto potrebbe starci ma al giusto e purtroppo il tutto non ha avuto il giusto prezzo, 86,50 euro con 1,50 di sconto per un totale di 85, prezzo troppo alto per la qualità del cibo e del servizio in generale, inaccettabile pagare così tanto per avere le tovaglie sporche, tavoglioli in carta usa e getta, coltello con punta piegata (che mi è stato cambiato una volta chiesto alla cameriera), purtroppo non ci tornerei a questo prezzo, pagando qualcosa in meno e aumentando la qualità dei prodotti risulterebbe essere competitivo. Bocciato.

I had a lovely experience here. The staff were truly fantastic and even gave a gift of coffee after the meal. As for the meal I had pasta with swordfish and it was delicious. Really well cooked with the right balance of flavour. As we were only having one primi piatti (first course) for lunch it was perfect for filling and providing vegetable, carb and protein, all in one. I beleive for what you got the meal was really reasonably priced. Overall I highly reccomend going here for a bite to eat. I had a great experience.

Incredible for the price. The restaurant may look closed but if you're there during opening hours just ring the bell. The tasting menus are under €40 and very good. One of the waiters spoke perfect English and explained exactly what was in each course. I don't think we've had food this nice and fancy for the price. If you order multiple tasting menus they'll make sure everyone gets something else. If you're a wheelchair user they'll bring out a ramp and there's outdoor seating if the weather's good.

Last night we had a lovely dinner at Due Pistacchi. The dishes were well flavored and the plates nicely laid out, with the tuna (catch of the day) as the highlight. The service absolutely excelled, especially compared to other restaurants of this type in Sicily. It would be a nice touch if we would have had an amuse/appetizer, along with bread. Also, we were the last guests present (at 10.30pm) and the staff was already tidying up and cleaning the restaurant, which did a tiny bit of harm to the overall pleasant experience. We celebrated New Years eve at this restaurant, it was recommended to us by our hotel receptionist. We were welcomed at the door with a warm and friendly smile. The food was very fresh, delicious and made of high quality ingredients. The ambiance was perfect. The owner is professional and passionate about his work.
