We chose a selection of seafood dishes, both starters and mains, and were thoroughly impressed by the freshness, flavor, and thoughtful presentation. Every bite reflected the Mediterranean tradition and creativity. Complementing our meal was a superb Grillo white wine, recommended by Tony, one of SVRGO’s outstanding waiters. His knowledge and attentive service added a personal touch that elevated the entire evening.

I can't really understand where these 5 star reviews come from. We came to this restaurant. First of all we wait 20 minutes for someone to take the order from us. Then a lady comes to us asking if "we've ordered something". After we said that we didn't and would like to order, it took another 10 minutes for someone to approach us. We waited for 50 minutes for 2 plates of "pasta con vongole" , while the restaurant wasnt even half full. Not to mention that it was completely tasteless. When we wanted to pay (we asked 3 times to pay), we waited for 25 minutes while the waiter completely ignored us. When we asked the first time, the waiter went, rolled himself a sigarette, really took his time to smoke it, then ignored us. This restaurant is a joke, it was the worst service i've ever experienced. Avoid it...

We had a wonderful dining experience at SVRGO Restaurant in Catania. We ordered two delicious menu classics—the spaghetti Bolognese and the Carbonara—both cooked to perfection, along with a refreshing Hugo Spritz and a great glass of wine. The staff was great and the owner was especially lovely.

The restaurant is set in a beautiful square, which added so much charm to the atmosphere. As New Yorkers with broad palates, we truly appreciated the quality and flavors of the food. The service was warm, attentive, and genuine. We left very happy and would gladly return. Highly...
