Flumen Ristorante Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Catania

Dined in a couple of restaurants in Catania and this is the most well balanced one so far.

First Impression: Discrete place, friendly and polite staff, cozy and clean ambient, very nice music and noise level!

Food: Fresh and appealing, doneness is perfect(in many other 4+ Catania restaurants they fail with this which ruins the dish), artsy plating without “tryharding”. Good combination of ingredients and spices. Also, not confusing many spices, less is more.

Bonus: The manager opened a new bottle of Zibbibo passito and gave some drinks for free with the dessert.

Ho cenato in questo splendido locale insieme a mia moglie nel mio figlio ed è stata una serata piacevolissima. Avevamo con noi il nostro piccolo chihuahua ed il proprietario come prima cosa ci ha portato una ciotola d'acqua per poi chiederci se volevamo qualcosa da mangiare per lui. Abbiamo ordinato 2 antipasti e 2 secondi per me e mia moglie e un primo ed un dolce per mio figlio. Nello specifico mi sento di consigliare sia la Tomahawk di Suino nero che Entrecôte con patate al rosmarino, olive taggiasche e asparagi così come Busiate con Pesto di Pistacchio, formaggio Ragusano DOP e Guanciale croccante di Suino dell'Etna. L'atmosfera era gradevole, il servizio è stato impeccabile ed il locale ha anche una posizione molto centrale lontana dal caos. Consiglio davvero do andarci e sicuramente...
