A gem. What a hotspot. Just stumbled upon this place. The staff is so sweet, so attentive and the second day they remembered what we had the day before and brought it to us before we even asked. Great place for a quick espresso, latte or Cappuccino and def a great place for an afternoon drink. Get them to make you a classic Aperol spritz, it’s great! Place doesn’t look like the images on Google. The Internet cafe pictures are old. You will enjoy it, I’m sure.

A very nice little bar meat the centre of Como. They have a huge variety of gins. We had the best gin in Italy over here. The lady and the barman were very friendly and gave us some good advise on the gins. Also the prices are pretty reasonable, especially when you compare them to those near the cathedral. Would definitely go back to this bar.

Beim Essen liegt der Fokus auf Risotto und weiteren italienischen SpezialitĂ€ten. Leider war das Vitello Tonato schon ausverkauft. Die Bedienung war sehr herzlich und die meisten GĂ€ste waren gefĂŒhlt alle Freunde des Hauses. Wir haben in den 4 Tagen in Como nirgendwo so preiswert gegessen wie hier! Es ist auch das einzige Restaurant (ja, es ist eigentlich eine sehr schöne alte Bar mit Speisekarte), die wir bei einem nĂ€chsten Besuch in Como nochmals ansteuern wĂŒrden.

Dinner is not served past a certain time (we went at 8pm on a Saturday night) but the chips and pizza bread they served complimentary was very nice and you won't see that just anywhere. The drinks were unpalatable. I got a negroni and my husband got an americano and it tasted like they went overboard on bitters. I got 2 Bloody Mary's after that and first one was fine, just strong on lemon juice and the second one had little to no alcohol and way too much lemon. Atmosphere was modernized vintage. Coffee is decent but not sure why I had to pay 7 euros for a latte macchiato and a toast. The menu said it’s 2 euros for a toast and a latte cannot be more than 2 euros. I was also at the bar. Initially was quoted 8 euros but I gave the angry look and she charged me 7 euros. The receipt given to me was 8 euros though with no breakdown. not an honest spot...
