Palazzo Mazzini — Hotel in Como

This property was a little hard to find because I didn’t expect it be located inside a gated community. Good things never come easy, right? That’s because this place is BEAUTIFUL and is even more so in person. The front desk area and the rooms look like modern art exhibitions. It’s all very cohesive. If I could give it a theme, I would say it’s cozy sophisticated.

There is a mini bar and water provided, which gets refilled with turndown. Most bathroom essentials are provided except for conditioner. My favorite discovery was the ghd hair dryer. The owner or designer or whoever manages the rooms must love hair. This is an elite addition to all the amenities offered already.

For breakfast, they provide vouchers to dine at three different nearby restaurants. This is a clever idea as it makes them comparable to a hotel. Because that’s essentially what it felt like, a fully serviced...

Palazzo Mazzini is an absolute gem in the center of Como Downtown and walking area. The attico room was absolutely fantastic and very nicely furnished. The instructions to access the room were super clear as well as how and where to park the car, where to get breakfast and how to use the Jacuzzi. The staff was super personable and friendly and helped us from the day of arrival till departure. The room was clean and very comfortable. We also forgot some items which were kept safely and returned the day after. Much appreciated. Thanks and see you soon hopefully!...

Incredible stay at Palazzo Mazzini. Our room on the ground floor was excellent. The space, design, original building quirks etc. The staff from starts to finish were so helpful and friendly. Big shout out to Gario (If I spelled it correctly!) who was helpful and hilarious.

The location in the older part of town was amazing as were the local restaurants and bars all in the doorstep. A 6 or 7 minute walk to the ferry too....
