Pronobis — Restaurant in Como

An absolutely wonderful experience at Pronobis. We visited last month for food and drink, and we were amazed at how the restaurant expanded out the back into a warm, atmospheric, and relaxing space that held more patrons. The charcuterie board we ordered as a starter was amazing, and seemed to arrive fresh from the premises' deli counter out front. The staff were wonderful, the pasta dishes were superb, and the tiramisu dessert was the best I've ever had. The wine choices were excellent, and staff discussed the options with us at length. What a fabulous place! We only called in for a drink but decided to stay because it was so authentic and so unlike many of the other tourist trap places around. We had a lovely sharing board of meats and cheeses, freshly prepared behind the counter. Then we opted for a delicious lasagne and aubergine parmigiana and thouroughly enjoyed the recommended bottle of red wine.There was lots to choose from! Secluded wine bar with very tasty food. We ordered aubergine parmesan and it was very tasty. I would even say one of the best in town we experienced in the past 3 days. We also asked for white wine which was tasty and waiter even proposed that we try first a specific wine to see if we like it. We liked it a lot. If you want to buy a bottle the prices are very reasonable and are all from local wineries that produce without sulfite.
