Walking into this restaurant felt like a sigh of relief after enduring the bumper-to-bumper traffic and the never-ending quest for a parking spot in the city center. Both the exterior and interior captivated us with their charm. The view promised a serene backdrop to our meal, and the tasteful interior decorations set high expectations for what was to come.
However, the promise of a delightful dining experience began to waver once we received our food. I opted for the Tagliatelle with truffles, a dish that, at its price point, should have been a culinary triumph. Unfortunately, the reality was underwhelming. The portion size seemed meager, almost as if it were an afterthought, and the taste left much to be desired. The word "rip-off" lingered in my mind as I took each bite.
That said, it wasn't all doom and gloom. The staff stood out as the restaurant's saving grace. They were attentive, kind, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. This attention to customer service helped mitigate some of our disappointment.
The interior, too, deserves a nod. Whoever designed the space did so with an eye for detail; it's the kind of place that makes you want to take photos to remember it by, even if the food isn't up to par.
In summary, this restaurant nails the atmosphere and customer service but falls woefully short in the one area that matters most in dining: the food. The experience felt disjointed, like reading a book with a captivating beginning and middle but a lackluster ending.
So, would I recommend this restaurant? Only if you prioritize ambiance and service over culinary quality. And even then, manage your expectations when it comes to the food...

A friend or mine ordered an appetizer of tomato and mozzarella with eggplant (some sort of Italian/Mediterranean dish) which was good. I give it a 4/5
I’d give it a 5/5 but the service was very slow in the beginning and we did not receive olive oil with our bread until the bread was finished ..
When it came to our entree, I ordered an American lobster pasta scampi spaghetti meal. My friend had order shrimp risotto
My spaghetti had looked thick like lo mein and starchy (as if it was overcooked) so I thought maybe this is how they do it in Italy? They also gave me prawn instead of shrimp which I don’t mind I guess.. But my seafood was very smelly, very fishy and had a rotten stench.
The shrimp on-top of my friends risotto had a very similar rotting stench
If I ate the rest of meal I would’ve been sick tonight.
Save yourself the trouble
By the way, they did not take my meal off my bill even after sending it back
I unfortunately did not take pictures of my meal because it wasn’t on our table long.

Read moreWhat started as a great experience ended very bitterly. The food was okay not the best. Seafood course tasted like someone splashed ocean water in there. But the customer service was not good. The restaurant has a faulty card machine which said my card had not paid however the money had been taken by the bank which I also showed the manager. However they insisted that it was not actually paid and I would have to pay again I was very upset as there was no customer service or understanding. Such a horrid manner from the manager. The manager continued to argue with me to pay even thought I showed him my bank transactions and explained it had been taken! He said I can ask the bank for a refund after?!! Why would I go through the hassle and he knew the money had been taken as he saw my bank and made me refresh the app, but he still made me pay again which meant I paid twice! Actually shocked and worse experience I’ve ever had at a...
