Panino Buono — Restaurant in Como

Nice and quick place to eat.

The two main options are the sandwiches/ panini's or the burgers. The sandwiches are cheaper around 5 Euros but I heard they had really nice burgers which cost 11 euro with chips/frites or 9 without.

I ended up having a hamburger with bacon and lettuce (hamburger 81, they number them) which was delicious, the chip's was heavily fried but good.

The staff was okay, the waitress who served me didn't seem too bothered with me at first but that might be because I said "sorry English" when she spoke Italian to me and this may annoyed her or something, even then she didn't seemed bothered when I tried using what little Italian I knew. That's may opinion, maybe she wasn't annoyed and I was just imagining it but basically she wasn't the friendliest waitress but not bad.

Anyway overall nice food (great burgers), ok staff, quick food and ok price.

Gave it a 4 out of 5 as I thought the burgers was a little bit pricey, it's not two bad but compared to their 5 euro panini's 9 euro seemed a bit much, not too sure to be honest if that's a fair price or not but that's what I first thought, and also because of the average service.

Went to watch the Women’s Euro finals here and you could tell that the manager already didn’t want to put it on the tv. As soon as the final penalty was taken by England and they won, to the second the management changed over to the Como cup game where there was one minute left of the first half. The fact that they couldn’t wait at least a few minutes until after the celebrations where a good portion of the bar was already watching the game is appalling, and felt like an act of spite. Other fans left immediately in rage.

Furthermore when asked to swap back after at the Como cup half time, the bartender was rude to my family and disrespectful to my nephew (only 11 years old).

I would say that we did have a great server who spoke great English and was very helpful. I would not recommend this place though as they clearly don’t know how to treat other nationalities. What goes around comes around, poor...

On Friday I went to this restaurant and at the beginning it was a very good experience, the waiters and waitresses were very nice and brought the food on time even though it is super overpriced and expensive for what they offer. Despite that I had a good time at the beginning. At the time of payment the YOUNG person in charge was totally rude from the first moment without patience and started shouting and telling me rude things such as "Porca Putana" and "Porco Dio" besides calling me an idiot and being totally derogatory to me I don't know if it was because I don't understand Italian, since I'm not from there. I must say it was a totally horrible experience that moment when the man in charge of the cashier spoke to me and left his place as if he was going to hit me.
