I am hesitant to write a negative review, but we truly had a poor experience at this restaurant. As a large group, we had been here for two night. The first night, we found the waiter to be rude. When we asked for the bottle opener for the wine (after waiting 15 mins while the rest of the table was drinking), she rolled her eyes at us. When we returned a second night for just drinks, there were drinks on our tab that had not been delivered. This had also happened the previous night, but since we hadn't kept a detailed track, we paid the extras. The second night, we kept a much closer eye on what we had ordered and received. At the end of the night, we pointed out the additional drinks that hadn't been delivered. After refusing our proof of what we had paid, and ordered, they told us to leave, using obscene language. They were very confrontational with us; and tried to shout us into paying. Although it can be a convenient place to eat at, given its location and they have space for groups, I would recommend you stay clear because the service soured our attitude of this restaurant.

Read moreI think the food and service was really great! The food really was 5-Star-Hotel standard. The selection and decoration was made with love and someone definitely put a second thought to it. The Guacamole was actually the best I ever had and freshly made at the table, which I thought was a very nice highlight to the overall experience.
I don't get the negative reviews on the food. But I think there is room for improvement in terms of service. Staff was very friendly and we got everything we needed and we never had to wait.
I can imagine it's the little things guests were bothering about. I read that some guests got their champagne in an red wine glass for example, but I can't tell if it's true. As for me I didn't like that we got the bill on a little piece of paper without any cover and the waiter stood there waiting for you to pay instead of giving you space for a moment as it's supposed to be. Paid €40 deposit each to secure a booking for Christmas Day dinner. Our experience -wrong dish arrived 40 mins after ordering. When correct order finally arrived a further 30 mins later it was cooked “medium” rather than “well done” as ordered. It duly went back for further cooking. The bread arrived at the same time as the food was returned to us - 1 hour 20 mins after we arrived. The dish did not remotely resemble how “Beef Wellington” should look – it was and totally unappetising in appearance. The Manager did not even seem to be aware that we had pre-paid €80 so we showed him the relevant documents. Initially, he suggested a discount but after further dialogue he returned our €80 in full.
