Pizzeria Lariana — Restaurant in Como

Fantastic pizza, probably the best takeaway pizza we have ever had, both in Italy and anywhere in the world! We ordered with JustEat, although the live updates on the website were not correct. We were staying in an AirBnB on the side of the hill so I went to the gate to meet the driver early and they turned up before the website said our food was being prepared.

I must give the driver 5 stars, I am not sure if she was employed by JustEat or the Pizzeria but her car broke down on her way to deliver the pizza to us. To make sure we got it she left the car and walked the pizza up the hilly road to the house. Sadly I could not tip her as I had no cash on me but she was a credit to customer service.

My friend and I were looking for a good hole in the wall place to eat and found this place. Literally some of the best pizza I have ever had. It tasted amazing. The father and son who were running the place when we went worked so well together and we were able to talk to the son about how his college was going. Very personable people. The pizza was as fresh as it gets. We saw him make and knead the dough and make the pasta sauce right in front of us and all the ingredients were fresh as can be. Litterally one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I got the prosciutto and cheese pizza while my friend got another one that tasted phenomenal. Great pizza, Quattro formaggi was amazing. It had tomato sauce which is a bit unusual for Quattro formaggi but still it was great. We bought one pizza and returned for another one. The staff was very friendly. You can pay with a card. There are just a couple of tables inside and a couple outside so they might be occupied but you can go and have your pizza near the lake at the stairs and get...
