Ristorante Raccano — Restaurant in Ferrara

Nice location and amazing wine list - unfortunately few minor mishaps push the rank down.

Owner is very professional and nice but the rest of the staff is not at level. Very long waiting time; food was not arriving at the same time. Unfortunately the biggest issue was the food: very tough and over cooked meat was the biggest issue and nothing shined.

Only thing that I find inelegant, albeit not connected to food or service during the dining experience, is how the account owner is replying to comments when below his/ her expectations. I hope our comments collectively could push to improve the service/ food/ experience (or any other topic the rater touches) rather than...

We came here for both lunch and dinner (by accident). The food is good though, and it's in a courtyard so it's quite nice. A bit hard to find, but you just need to walk into the courtyard. they have the famous pumpkin ravioli, that one was good but a bit sweet. I love the cuttle fish. the fowl was a bit dry but it's a fowl so I mean all birds are usually more dry than other meats. The Crispy skin helped. not so found of the beef, but was alright, nothing against it, I just preferred my beef...

Non consiglio assolutamente questo ristorante ... Il personale è molto freddo ed estremamente disattento, i menu esposti fuori non sono attendibili e i prezzi sono estremamente cari. Se passate per Ferrara, città dalla ricca tradizione gastronomica a cui questo posto mi sento non tiene affatto fede, suggerisco di recarvi in altri ristoranti certamente ben migliori!

edit: non vedo perché la mia recensione debba essere falsa, ho semplicemente riportato che "i menu esposti fuori non sono attendibili" proprio perché chiedendo al cameriere di mangiare cibi effettivamente riportati sul menu mi era stato risposto che non ce l'avevano! In secondo luogo, l'argumentum ad hominem dove per rispondere a una critica si attacca la persona (in questo caso, me) è già stato denunciato in quanto fallacia logica da Sesto Empirico e Aristotele sin dal IV secolo a.C. quindi suggerisco alla proprietaria di aggiornare le proprie scadenti tecniche retoriche. Non mi esprimo neanche sullo squallore dei commenti in merito alle mie presunte disponibilità economiche, che forse riflette più un background culturale di chi scrive.
