Let’s start off saying yesterday we had the most amazing Indian food in Italy AT ANOTHER RESTAURANT. We gave THIS PLACE A CHANCE TODAY based off the reviews . I must say anyone who said the Naan or different dishes here are to “ die for” has lost their mind and never ate good food in their life .

This place charges €6 for ONE piece of a chicken leg . We literally got 7 pieces of lamb chops at another restaurant for €15 lol . The size of the lamb Karahi was so tiny and the biryani is not biryani . I have no clue what this is . It’s tasteless and a disgrace to the famous Indian dish chicken biryani . Furthermore , these people have the audacity to PUT HOT FOOD in a PLASTIC cheap container contaminating the food basically . Not only did we spend €30 on 2 dishes and 1 naan ( very expensive for Italy ) the owners put it in the cheapest container possible . Please do yourselves a favor and go to another spot for Indian food and do not believe these reviews for a second . There’s a reason this guys place is empty majority of the time and he has no honor to charge these prices .

Overall the food is poorly crafted , lack of passion in the dishes , and over priced, and this is coming from an...

I had the pleasure of dining at Al Noor Indian Restaurant recently, and it was an exceptional experience!

Food: The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish we tried was packed with authentic flavours and expertly prepared. From the aromatic biryanis to the rich curries and perfectly baked naan, each bite was a delight. The attention to detail in the seasoning and presentation really stood out.

Service: The customer service was top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and ensuring our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. Their warmth and efficiency made us feel right at home.

Atmosphere: The atmosphere at Al Noor was inviting and comfortable. The restaurant had a cozy and elegant ambiance, perfect for a relaxed meal. The decor was tasteful and complemented the dining experience wonderfully.

Overall, Al Noor Indian Restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're a fan of Indian cuisine or just looking for a fantastic dining experience, I highly...

Best Indian food in recent times!!!

After a long tiring walk in the Florence city, we desperately wanted to have some good food. And we were fortunate to find an Indian restaurant via Google. Since we already tasted pizza's and pasta for first few days in Italy, we had craving for Indian food. To our surprise, the food was so delicious and finger-licking 🤩 and it reminded me the taste of Paneer Makhani, which I had in my teenage from a restaurant in South India. It was so authentic which I never expected from the size of the restaurant. I love that mild sweetness in Paneer Makhani 😋

We ordered samosa, chicken madras curry, paneer makhani, veg briyani, dhaal, garlic & butter naan and white rice. All the dishes were so yummy 😋 Thanks to the chef 🫡 The price was reasonable or even less than what we have in Germany. We were served and treated well at the restaurant. The food made our day and will be remembered. We will come back for sure if we visit Florence...

I don’t think they are Indian but yeah food tastes similar to what Indian dishes are. Being an Indian, I need my share of Indian food every 2-3 days and though does not matter how delicious pizza is, I can’t eat after 3-4 days continuously eating it. We were coming from Santa Croce church and found this. Small joint, nothing lavish, your next-door restaurant types. A major chunk of business is done by the ordering system. We entered, nobody bothered to look at us. They were busy packing delivery stuff. We managed to get one table. We ordered dal tadka, tandoori roti, rice, and chicken tikka masala. It was good not that great but yeah eating Indian food after so many days, that feeling was awesome. The service was really bad. Seems everybody was busy min the delivery thing.

The perfect spot for a late night Indian! The staff here are the absolute kindest, everyone was so nice and helpful. One of the greatest things about this restaurant is the schedule; being open late into the night, it’s a go-to for when one gets some evening cravings. The service was very quick (no longer than 10 minutes for tikka masala). The food was definitely above average, and the naan was to die for!! Similarly, the portions are very generous. One thing I didn’t like was the packaging, which was a bit odd (in a tiny plastic container), and isn’t the best choice, especially when dealing with hot food. Still, a great spot for some traditional Indian food!
