WORST Restaurant Experience Ever – Stay Away from Amuri Bistro!

If I could give zero stars, I would. The server at Amuri Bistro in Florence was downright hostile from the moment we arrived. She slammed the menus on the table, pointed fingers in our faces, and spoke to us like we were dirt.

We told her someone in our group had a serious anchovy allergy and specifically asked for no anchovies. She ignored us and brought the dish with anchovies anyway — completely reckless and dangerous.

When we politely explained that the restaurant wasn’t what we were expecting and we didn’t want to eat there after all, she literally forced us to leave while we were still sitting down, humiliating us in front of everyone.

We called the restaurant afterward to file a complaint, and she answered the phone with a rude “What… stop,” then hung up on us.

I’ve never encountered such nasty, unprofessional service. This place is a total disgrace. Avoid it...

Unfortunately, we didn't have the best experience. The service was hectic and always unnecessarily quick on us. They didn't bring us the mixed salad side dish we have ordered, after we told them they came back saying that they no longer have it but at the payment it was on our bill so again we had to deal with it. We ordered bottle of Chianti wine and after tasting we didn't accept it as it wasn't good, fortunately they agreed and brought us another one.

As for the food, we wanted to try the typical Bistecca alla Fiorentina which I guess was alright, there is quite a lot of fat stuff on it. For 1.7kg steak (with bone and fat) for 2 persons we paid 90€. I think next time we will be better of with a beef sirloin...

It was an amazing experience to dine there. Servers were very kind and thoughtful, even greeted with my own language. I had great time having Florentine steak, mixed salads. I also had prosecco and Red Wine, Rosso di Montalcino, which is my favorite. They were awesome I could eat whole dishes and tons of wine. I finished with Zuccottino alla Florentina. It was the first time trying that one. It was really nice with double shots of espresso. I totally recommend this for you all I'd like to visit again and again for this fabulous restaurant with awesome atmosphere. Grazie mille. 감사합니다. 리뷰를 보는...

Amazing food, very welcoming staff and a nice relaxing ambience! I had the bistecca alla fiorentina which was delightful. I had been travelling Italy solo and it was my first night and meal in Firenze. Both Caesar and Bhadri were super helpful with suggestions for me and made sure I didn’t feel alone in the restaurant which was super nice. Bhadri also made sure I was well fed watered with a free bruschetta and a limoncello shot to finish. A nice touch and signs of an experienced restaurant owner with good hospitality. Highly recommended to try!

I don’t know why it’s 4.6. We even paid almost €130 here just for a local steak and a pasta. 1.The quality of the €58/kg florentine meat was definitely NOT worth the price. It was not that fresh and so hard to chew, compared to what I have had in Florence these days. 2.The pasta was not tasty either, even my kids can tell the difference from the pasta we had last night and they didn’t like it at all. 3. The stuff looked a little bit annoying at first seeing us taking 2 kids. When we arrived at 12:30pm there was no one in the restaurant.
