There is no better place to have craft, artisan beer in all of Florence. They stand head above shoulders among all the other possible choices in this historic city. Their draft beer selection is premium, blending mainstream craft along with little known other artisanal curiosities from throughout Europe. The bartenders also excel in knowing the technique of pouring a draft beer, taking pride in giving the customer a perfect frothy foam top. There is nothing worse than a great beer that is given a terrible pour, as this ruins the whole taste and experience of the beer itself. At Art. 17 Birreria you can relax and not have to worry about crappy pours here. You are a guaranteed a great pour with your great beer, and therefore an overall fantastic experience. The owners have a passion for craft beer, and perhaps even a stronger passion for hospitality. They make you feel welcome and a part of the community, which goes a long way if you are foreigner visiting a new city. Located in the heart of the Sant' Ambrogio district, there are plenty of crowds passing through and interesting people to meet at this bar. Yet on the other hand, there is enough space here to give the ambience a sense of intimacy, making it a perfect spot for a date with your lover. And if you are on a budget, don't worry. The prices for the finely crafted beer that they offer on tap are also reasonably perfect for Florence, a city that tends to be overpriced. I strongly recommend that if you are in Florence, that you make your way to Art. 17 Birreria on the weekend nights or on a lazy weekend afternoon, and enjoy some great beer and good times! Don't miss out...

Whether it’s winter and we’re inside and cozily seated at the bar or we’re enjoying the warm Tuscan weather outside with everyone else... or we’re celebrating birthdays in the back room!! - it’s always the place I want to be. Fantastic selection of unique and tasty beers on tap and loads of lovely ones in the fridge as well. Yummy flavors of bagged chips for just one euro. Best atmosphere for a pub: chill, friendly, not too dark, spacious. Biggest, cleanest bathroom you’ll find in Florence when it comes to pubs or even just dining out. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and cool...

While visiting Florence recently, we happened upon this establishment. Tables and stools were set out on the street to allow people to congregate in the open air with their drinks. This offered a bit of a block-party vibe! We mingled with many locals and tried (and sometimes failed) expressing ourselves in Italian. Everyone was gracious, accommodating, and warm.
They have a wide selection of craft beers, and they know...
