I recently had the pleasure of visiting Bistrot 1926, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the elegant yet welcoming atmosphere. Ho chiamato il venerdì mattina per prenotare un tavolo per una decina di persone per il sabato sera e con piacevole sorpresa quando siamo arrivati abbiamo scoperto che ci avevano prenotato tutta la saletta del rum. Il posto è molto suggestivo e l'ambiente curato al minimo dettaglio. Molto bello. I problemi sono iniziati con l'inizio delle ordinazioni. Io penso che nessuno dei camerieri fosse in serata e anzi mi sembravano anche pochi (erano in 3) per occuparsi adeguatamente del locale pieno. La cameriera che ci ha servito in più di un'occasione ci ha riservato occhiate rivolte al cielo, sorrisetti sotto i baffi (non ho ben capito poi il motivo) e anche una ripetuta scortesia di modi. Alcuni amici sono arrivati dopo un po' e non gli è neanche stato portato il menu nonostante l'avessero chiesto quindi non hanno neanche preso da bere. A un altro ragazzo che aveva ordinato il rum non hanno portato il cioccolato. Quando l'ha chiesto a un'altra cameriera gli è stato risposto che lei aveva troppi tavoli da servire quindi doveva aspettare l'altra collega, oltre ad avergli riservato una frecciatina fuori luogo e poco piacevole. Da precisare che in quel momento lei era davanti al barattolo di cioccolato e le sarebbe costato uno sforzo di 5 secondi. Mi dispiace ma non ho capito proprio il servizio. Non mi aspettavo che un comportamento simile fosse generalizzato proprio a tutto lo staff. Si salva solo la ragazza all'ingresso che ci ha accolto e salutato con un sorriso. Ripeto, sicuramente non era serata, il locale era pieno e lo staff numericamente ridotto. Ma quando quello che stai facendo è il tuo lavoro non ti puoi permettere di trattare un gruppo di clienti in quel modo. Le voci poi corrono e ti stai facendo da solo una cattiva...

This cafe was very close to where I stayed and I went there for coffee every single morning. The service is wonderful, Selene was such a friendly amazing lady! The coffee was great, the brioche / croissants delicious! Highly recommend it. I would love to go back and have my morning americano while watching the locals come in and drink their coffees and chat. What a lovely atmosphere.
