Not sure this place deserves the bad reviews. It does have some negative aspects however (see end). Very well situated, right in front of the Pitti palace. Not super busy, we ate from about 12 to 1 and there were tables free outside and inside. The food was decent, nothing spectacular, but it was fresh. The service was good, the waiters were friendly, and all spoke good English. It was however quite pricey: a pizza is about 8€ (it is pretty big though) and a glass of coke is up to 6€ (which I admit is a little ridiculous). Moreover, they charge extra if you eat outside which they failed to mention when seating us (extra 1.50 per person; again, ridiculous). While they have a nice location and not so bad service, every good thing will be forgotten because of the food. Pizza was really bad - the crust they used was old and not tasty, even gummy to a point, and the cheese is depressingly tasteless you almost would think you’re eating play-doh. The caffe d’orzo was much diluted. The cheese board was not bad but for paying 12 euros i would expect the cheese selection to be better than what seemed to be...
