Caffè Ricasoli — Restaurant in Florence

Not just for the panino, but because of this panino: I would like to write a review about this place, and I will write it in English so it can reach as much people as possible. Very simple, I just asked for a panino with schiacciata bread, jam and mushroom sauce… the bread was dry and still frozen I guess that it has been more than a month in the freezer. Being in the freezer for all this time, the bread had weird flavours. The jam was ok, the mushroom sauce was “mayonnaise” (which I deeply hate). I do not write reviews very often, but is so sad what is happening in Florence… I work in this beautiful city since September 2017. I see how some (not all of them but unfortunately a high percentage) of people work, they think they can play with the customer, like if we do not have brain I guess… they play with prices and with the patience of the people that visit this ancient city. I am so disappointed seeing how thing are turning these days. Really, it will be so sad when people stop visiting the city because they hate being played. Not a serious way to work, and it says so much about people… If the percentage of these “kind of citizens” grow… I predict a bad future for the city… that is becoming poorer and poorer from day to day. I am generally a positive person and write good feedbacks for the places that are my favorite. But, look at what I felt in here: The most rubish cafe in Florence. Three reasons for what I say: 1- the ice cream or let's say gelato was not having real flavors, and melted as soon as he gave it to us. And it was full of fake flavors.(Look at the photo) 2- We were a group of 5, three of us ordered ice cream and we were sitting so that the people who ordered enjoy their gelato, the guy got angry and asked us to leave, so, service was unfriendly and bad. 3- people who are going to this tourist destination are going to enjoy their holidays, and have some fun, relax and rest. If he does not want to make a relaxed environemnet for the guests, why should he work there? These sort of toxic guys should not work in such places. He earns very good surely, so, he should also...

During my time studying abroad, visiting this caffè was my favorite thing to do. The workers here are tremendously helpful and kind to their patrons. They remembered me when I would visit and let me practice my (rather poor) Italian language skills. The coffee here is unlike anything I have ever gotten in the states! Their drinks are delicious and are made perfectly every time you order. However, when you visit I reccomend that you order more than just the amazing coffee. This caffè has a wide selection of food that can be ordered as well.
