C’est Chic Vintage Oltrarno — Local services in Florence

Hands down the best vintage store I've ever been to! The owner Giada is the nicest, most talented curator with an unmatched attention to detail. A little story: I found the most beautiful vintage red Ferragamo boots at C'est Chic that fit like a glove. They were a once in a lifetime find. One thing led to the next and I tragically ruined one of the boots. I went back to Florence from Rome and Giada fixed the boots for me (no easy task as they were completely ruined.) It was a true miracle that she was able to fix them. Not only does C'est Chic have one of the best curated selections of clothes, jewelry, shoes, and accessories, but the shop owner Giada is beyond wonderful, chic, beautiful and I really enjoyed spending time with her in her wonderful shop as she made all my shopping dreams come true. I cannot recommend this place enough and I cannot wait to make my way back there this summer! Thank you Giada!...

I stumbled upon this vintage shop while wandering around and was immediately captivated by the stunning dress on the mannequin in the window. I was holding a gelato at the time, so I couldn’t try it on, but I made a note of the address and went off to explore the Boboli Gardens.

But as I walked through the gardens, I couldn’t stop thinking about that dress — so I came back to the shop, asked the kind staff to take it down for me, tried it on, and was absolutely blown away. I bought it on the spot! Turns out it had only been on display for four days. I feel so lucky to have found it. It’s by far the best thing I’ve bought in Florence.

Last week I was on vacation in Italy and couldn’t resist spending a day in Florence. I hadn’t actually planned on doing any major shopping, but as I walked past this store, my eye was caught by the clothing displayed in the window. Expecting the prices to be quite high, I went in just to have a friendly look.

To my surprise, everything was in perfect condition - the selection, the affordability of the pieces, the tidiness of the shop and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The sales assistant was very helpful, showed me items that suited my taste, and personally advised me on the fit. For anyone accompanying me, seats were immediately offered.

In the end, I left with a coat, a shirt, a jacket, a waistcoat, a tie, and matching accessories. I can only recommend this place.
