As an italian that has been working in hospo his all life i am telling you: you can find something bettere easily, don't stop by, here's why: 1)service is worst than self service. i had to find myself a table, call the waitress that looked pretty busy and careless. the price on front menu for what i had was 11, on the menu she bought me was 12, she said that would be the price, finally i've paid 11 anyway. not her fault tho, busy lunch time i've seen just 2 waiting staff. 2) wi-fi dosen't reach 1,5 meters outside the door, guess they buried the modem somewhere in the basement? 3) had glass of house red, the most acid wine i had in 4 days around tuscany, with hindsight i'd rather drink water, BUT I WASN'T EVEN ASKED if i'd like any kind of water, even tap! 4) when i got inside to pay with card i've tried to pay in GBP on the eftpos machine coz otherwise my card would overcharge me a little for the change, but the lady just took my card and touch it, without even ask. I reckon she must be one of the owner and probably one of the most arrogant and rude person i've met in the industry. 5) 2euro charge for cover is kinda fair, and i know that on sunday (when i visited) most of bakery are closed, but i think in florence you can find some bakery to give you fresh bread, charging for yesterday's bread not really fair to me.

The only star i gave is actually for the food coz the pici with ricotta i had was actually tasty and even the food other patrons had looked nice, but as i've said, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, and you'll probably find better service, better wine (house wine everywhere in italy is actually better than that) for same or even...

We stumbled across this place without researching beforehand for lunch. Quickly seated, bruschetta antipasta was quite good though overpriced at 10 EUR a piece. Our group of four each ordered an individual main dish, two of those came out first (pasta and risotto), about four minutes later another pasta came out so three of the four had their dishes. The restaurant was not busy as it was midafternoon so we patiently waited for the pizza to arrive for the fourth persons meal and the group had begun eating so their food wouldn’t go cold. After about ten minutes we flagged down a waiter to ask about the pizza and they went to the kitchen to check. They returned empty handed and said 1 minute, but ten more minutes had passed and the rest of the group had completely finished their food by the time the pizza arrived. The waitstaff was not apologetic at all. The mushroom risotto and pizza sauce was flavorless, the pastas (seafood and red sauce with burrata) were good. To top off a poor experience the waitstaff when charging us automatically charged us in USD instead of EUR which the receipt explains included a 3.5% convenience fee on top of the already unfavorable conversion rate. She did not provide the option and did it herself on the machine, clearly assuming we were tourists and would not notice.

Overpriced, hit or miss food, and terrible service that takes advantages of tourists to make a few extra bucks. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere...

We went there today just to have some drinks. Before entering, we asked a staff member inside if we could sit down just for drinks. She said, “Yes, sit wherever you like.” So we chose a table near the entrance. Suddenly, an elderly woman waitress came over waving her hands and told us we couldn’t sit there because it was a table for four. We were shocked and confused.

We moved to a smaller table and again made it clear that we only wanted drinks, as we had already said before entering. The waitress gave us a cold look and treated us with clear disrespect. She brought our drinks with a terrible attitude. It felt like the only thing she didn’t do was throw them at us. It was one of the worst customer service experiences of my life.

Later, another couple came in and said they just wanted drinks as well. The same waitress mumbled and sighed behind their back. Truly unacceptable behavior.

It was a disappointing and uncomfortable experience. Staff behavior was unkind and unprofessional, making us feel like we weren’t welcome. Good service is just as important as food or drinks. Unfortunately, this place fails...

Upon entering said establishment we were relegated to the back of the restaurant. On the positive side it was nice and cool at the back. The waitress, an older woman decided to serve an Italien woman who came five minutes later first, then two other families that arrived even later. Racism? Maybe? The next waiter, a middle age man wearing dark glasses, was just as impolite. Head down and no eye contact. We all received our food at different times. My wife ordered a bruschetta, which oddly enough took longer to arrive than my pizza and my daughter’s pasta dish. The food itself is alright and nothing special. The crust and bottom of my pizza was burnt, but they decided to serve it anyway. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant if you plan on eating a lot and need to use the toilet, especially for woman. The toilets have no seats or anything to sanitise them. Personal I don’t like my butt cheeks touching toilet rims covered in urine, but maybe that’s just me. Would I recommend this place? Only if everywhere else is full and I have no choice.

Very nice restaurant with beautiful decor and friendly service. It was a bit slow since it was busy and the waiter was by himself but we weren't in a rush so not really a concern but worth mentioning. The balsamic vinegar that was used here for the bread was one of the best we've had here. Much thicker than other restaurants but super flavourful. For our mains we ordered the sea bass and the penne arrabbiata. The sea bass was delicious and the vegetables that came with it were also quite good. The portion size was also quite large for the price so good value. The penne was a bit of a smaller portion but still quite good. The sauce wasn't very spicy compared to penne arrabbiata back in Canada but the pasta was definitely cooked better. I asked for extra sauce since Ive found that most places go light on the sauce but I prefer more sauce and I'm glad they did it. Made the dish that much better in my opinion.
