PaStation — Restaurant in Florence

Really sad to be making this review with just one star because I came in here expecting more thanks to the other reviews. Service was fine, the place wasn't full at the time we went, so we hoped it was gonna take less time to serve us instead it was more or less 30 min, we asked for our pasta to be cooked a little bit more, one of them tasted really bad, which was the Norma, sauce was really old, it tasted bitter and it was unpleasant. The other ones were eatable at least. Making this review so you guys can improve, we know this is a city full of tourists, but doesn’t mean you get to serve whatever. Hopefully one day I come back and it’s better, maybe if it’s full of people and there’s movement then food would feel more fresh. If you wanna eat better pasta I do suggest you to go...

Worst dining experience I have had. A large tourist group came in and they did not have enough tables for them. Instead of asking them to wait outside or by the entrance, they were left standing around the restaurant. Our table was in a corner and they stood completely around us, even leaning on the table. The staff did nothing about this despite seeing what was happening. It was even difficult to leave as they were so closely around our table and not moving out of the way, having to shove past them to get out. Staff did absolutely nothing and did not acknowledge the situation at all. The rest of my day was ruined from such an overwhelming experience at lunch. I would not recommend...

The place is very clean, spacious, and airy. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, much better in this regard compared to other places I visited in Florence. There is a wide variety of sauces and pasta options, which is definitely a plus.

As for the pasta, was it the best I’ve ever had? No. The worst? Also no. I’d say it’s fairly average. When it comes to the bill, we paid €40 for two people, which included pasta and two colas. One of the pasta dishes was 1.5 portions. The price is a bit high, but considering its central location, I’ll leave that part up to you to decide.
