This was, without a doubt, the best restaurant I have ever been to. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff were very friendly, and that is to say nothing of the food. We started with their assorted cheeses and jams, all of which were delicious. I then had an incredible pasta dish, followed by their signature fiorentina T-bone steak. From our table, we could watch them cook the steak through a window. The owner of the restaurant periodically stopped into the kitchen to personally inspect the steak, and the chef seemed very invested in preparing it perfectly. When it came out, it was exquisite. I love steak and have been to several highly esteemed steak houses spanning three continents. This, unexpectedly, was easily among the best.
If you are ever in Florence, do yourself a favor and get a meal here. You absolutely will not regret it!

A lot of these reviews talk about this place being too expensive. It is not cheap, but it is priced very fairly. My friends and I ordered a three course meal with wine and a premium steak, and it came out to ~45 USD per person. We have had to pay much more for far lower quality everywhere else we have been...

The steak was everything you'd hope for—perfectly seared on the outside, juicy and tender inside, with that unmistakable depth of flavor only a true Tuscan grill can provide. It was served simply, letting the quality of the meat speak for itself, and accompanied by rustic sides that complemented the dish without distracting from it.
The staff were warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they serve. They even helped us choose a beautiful Tuscan wine that paired perfectly with the steak. The ambiance was cozy and full of charm, tucked away just enough to feel like a hidden gem, but still in the heart of Florence.
A true highlight of our trip—this is the kind of meal that stays with you. Highly recommended to any food lover...
Read moreGive it a miss, the best bit was the soup at 10 euro each... Actually no service was great. Good job them. Let's start with the next best bit, the steak - excellent quality beef but not seasoned and not rested meaning the juices just flowed out all over the plate. The fish of the day, ok, but not disclosed that it was infact pretty much a soup with a few bits of fish only, and also the first three mouthfuls full of bones and under seasonned 24 euro. we also ordered two sides, the potatoes though seasoned well were drier than a dead dingoes donga and the grilled vegetables were acidic and lacked love. Couldn't finish it (unusual for me) and asked for a take away bag. Gave it to a homeless dude because I just didn't want to eat it tomorrow. This plus a bottle of house Chianti came to 112 euro. Oh, and the bread tasted raw, like an undercooked scone. Sorry guys. Thanks for the...
