Pub Dragonfly — Restaurant in Florence

Avoid at all costs! My partner and I went for drinks one night and everything was so amazing we decided to come back the next night. However, I could not have anticipated that my cocktail would be spiked, or at least so it very likely seemed. After just a couple of sips of the cocktail, I got blurry vision, everything slowed down 5-10 times more severely than usual, and I was fainting the whole evening, not to mention that the drink tasted awful. I am not sure what was wrong - maybe it was spiked or maybe something was very wrong with the cocktail. However, I got to the hotel only thanks to my partner. For those in doubt, I did eat before, and I have been consuming alcohol for quite some time, so I know how it feels to be tipsy. Thus, I also know that something was terribly wrong with my state both that night and the next day - I barely woke up, and when I did I had no motivation nor the willingness to go and visit the city, which is very unusual for me when I am traveling. I really like this place, I live nearby and have visited quite a few times. The staff are friendly and the drinks are fantastic! Delicious.

They have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into this place, it's really quirky inside and their menu totally backs it up. Also, they play great music.

You can sit inside or outside on the Piazza (although inside is air conditioned!). A great addition to Florence 😊

This place was such a great experience! The locals took to my son and started teaching him Italian, the service was good but not overwhelming, and the classic cocktails were so tasty that I had to revert to my usual so that I didn't end up ugly drunk.
