Ravioli Wang Firenze (BARACCA) — Restaurant in Florence

Poor taste but good presentation, slow service, clean restaurant, a bit pricey.

The food was served hot and with good presentation. The quality was average; however, the taste was poor. The assorted-dumplings dish looked good, but you couldn't tell what you were eating without looking at the description. Also, most of the dumplings tasted similar. The Peking duck was the biggest dissapointment. The skin was not crispy, the meat was dry and lacked flavor. The chicken with vegetables was average, and so was the vegetable dish.

The restaurant is very large, with one main dining room and a second one across the hall to handle over flow. The servers were very slow and it was difficult to gain their attention. The decor was nice with cloth napkins, and there was soft music in the background.

Overall, a dissapointing dining experience.

LEGGETE TUTTO PERCHÈ VI DIVERTIRETE!! Eravamo già stati ma probabilmente non torneremo più poiché abbiamo trovato un servizio veramente PESSIMO. Comincio a spiegarvi il perché della pessima serata... Siamo arrivati alle 21:15 e l'ordine è stato preso almeno 20 minuti dopo facendo passare avanti 2/3 tavoli che erano arrivati dopo di noi. Durante la cena abbiamo ordinato 2 calici di prosecco, ma è stato portato del vino appena frizzante. Dopo aver chiesto di cambiarli, poiché NON ERA PROSECCO, ci è stato detto che sbagliavamo e di continuare a bere. Durante la cena abbiamo chiesto di cambiare tavolo poiché arrivava il gelo essendo posizionati davanti alla porta, essendo gennaio e con l'entrare e uscire delle persone non è piacevole cenare, ma il responsabile di sala ha detto che non c'erano altri tavoli disponibili, quando il locale si presentava mezzo vuoto e c'erano altri tavoli dove poter cenare senza problemi. ASPETTATE CHE NON È FINITA!! Alle ore 22 abbiamo chiesto di riordinare e c'è stato detto che era meglio prendere un dolce poiché per un piatto di ravioli avremmo dovuto aspettare più di 20 minuti... Sentito questo abbiamo deciso di ordinare il dolce e andare via, ma quando è arrivato il dolce abbiamo notato che che era ricoperto di panna ed ho fatto notare che la mia ragazza era allergica alla panna e se era possibile averne uno senza (nel menu scritto non era specificata la panna). La risposta è stata che bastava levarla... A quel punto ho fatto notare che nel menu non c'era la carta degli allergeni e mi è stato risposto "NON POSSIAMO SCRIVERE TUTTO". DOBBIAMO DIRE SERVIZIO RIDICOLO CHE NON CI FARA TORNARE... PECCATO PERCHÈ I RAVIOLI SONO BUONI...

Maybe we chose the wrong dishes given that most of customers gave high rating. The curry beef dumplings were overcooked outside and filling was still cold. The pink dumplings with shrimps and pork were not completely cooked . I guess the chef was rushing because it was a busy night in the restaurant. We had to ask the waitress to take back the pink dumplings as we were really disappointed. We order like 8 dishes or so and only...
