After a long, hot summer day of visiting Florence, the four of us went to have dinner at this restaurant. The waiters were extremely professional, caring and kind; I was exhausted and I made some mess with the water on the table, they were very understanding and fixed the issue, throughout the whole experience they've been very attentive and at the same time left us breathing-air. Speaking about the food, we all ordered a different menú and I will go in order starting from the most famous one. One menú(meant to be shared by 2 people) consisted of an appetizer, local cold-cuts, cheese and bruschettas, can't tell much about it but I tried one slice and it was good; all was accompanied by a local red wine. The main dish was the Fiorentina, about 1kg of steak. I tried a few slices and it was one of the best steaks I have ever tried in my life! As side dish there were roasted potatoes. My menú consisted of a first dish, a grilled rebay steak and as a side I chose a vegetables salad. For starters, they brought tortellini di patate (Italian potato dumplings) with chianina (a particular breed of cattle) sauce; could be cut as easy as butter and the taste was very impressive and particular. The second dish was a grilled rebay steak, juicy and carefully seasoned I didn't even need to cut it because of how tender the meat was, while the salad was normal, great for switching tastes. I was the only one to order the dessert and... well, the video speaks by itself. It was a chocolate mousse with pistacchio cream and a little sprinkle of crushed almonds. It was a great experience, waiters were great, the atmosphere was amazing as we dined without the usual noise you might find in restaurants. The food was amazing and I am looking forward to dining here again next time I visit Florence! I highly recommend it.

I’ve had steak all over the world, even Australia where it’s renowned for its beef and Trattoria’s Florentine steak is by far the best!! It was juicy, fatty and melts in your mouth! Definitely worth the price, however for the quality and quantity the price is very reasonable, and the serving size is very generous, thus I’d advise to share the food. In addition to great food was the AMZING SERVICE provided by the staff, particularly Jovelyn and Benjamin, they were so attentive, brought things before we even requested, offered to take our photos overall & made our first night Florence very special. I noticed that the entire staff at Trattoria was very kind and went above to make the customers experience memorable, like offering birthday cupcakes with candles and giving us complimentary Limone!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE Trattoria’s near the Firenze S.M.N station, you will not be disappointed by the food and service !! I recommend booking in advance as this place is very popular and people were waiting in line outside the restaurant

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE ON MY BIRTHDAY 1. The staff - I don’t know is it because it’s a tourist spot or not but the staff are not really helpful. When I ask about recommendations about the type of steak we should go with, he answer vaguely and without genuine interest in helping us choosing a good one - Another female staff is also not very nice when I complain about the bread quality and she insisted that the bread are supposed to be stale and hard like that? But eventually she did change another bread basket for me but the quality of the bread is still unacceptable - Service is quite slow too, hard to call the waiter/ waitress if needed anything 2. The food - The bread is just a disappointment as I mentioned earlier, it’s like eating rock - The pasta is “al dente” as they explain, but it’s just not my preference, texture feels like raw pasta. Sauce is also bland, nothing special - The only good thing about this meal is probably we choose to go with Black Angus for our Florentine Steak. It’s juicy and tender For the price we paid, it’s just not worth it to be honest. Never coming back

The worst steakhouse experience. Ordered “Premium” MARCHIGIANA. Beef was awfully seared and under-seasoned. Bread provided was cheap Aldi breads rolls. Service staff failed to bring out steak before serving and did not inform us on weight options for the steak. Look at the picture and how awful the steak was. Failed to do a proper sear or put it under a broiler after. The Mcdonalds across the street had better searing technique. Thin cut of beef for their ribeye which included a bone. If I wanted bone I would have ordered the T-Bone. Carpaccio was also unseasoned and awful for 20 euros. Restaurant was very sneaky about the 20% discount that you would get from booking a reservation via The Fork, did not provide itemised receipt. Highly recommend that you spend your money elsewhere. Would ignore the high average reviews, poor indication of a restaurant’s true value and quality. Lastly, what type of steakhouse does not sell wine by the glass

Tourists beware! Don’t be scammed by this store across from train station. For two person staying in Florence for the first time, we were up sold to the local Wagyu version of Florentine style steak. We would be perfectly happy with grilled Chianina version, which we had in their same chain store, around the corner, two days later. They offered a much larger size of two people, 1.5kg, 1.2 kg was their normal, and they did offer us complementary wine and expresso because our cut was larger than we expected. Also the Wagu was not as tender as we anticipated. Having made many trips to Japan, we know a good Wagyu! Check Google and reserve their other sites, the other places are quiet, and loosely seated than this one. We even had 20%off when seated before 7pm, at their other place!

We made a reservation here because it is touted as the best 101 steak restaurants in the world so who wouldn’t want to get a steak here right?! However we were all a bit let down as to us it is just average. It was not bad just not in the upper tier that we expected. We had a ribeye and some other steaks with sauces. I think more than anything we felt rushed and treated more like in an American restaurant where they want turnover rather than an experience as we are used to in Europe for dinner. We did not have time to enjoy any wine or the appetizer before our steaks came out. They also seemed undercooked for a medium steak as we requested. Like I said it was not bad just not worthy of 101 best in the world from our experience with them.
