I dislike leaving negative reviews, but I don't feel I have a choice with this establishment. We arrived at the train station to go to the airport to catch a flight. We decided to eat here as it looked clean and fairly priced. The coffee took so long to arrive that I actually thought they had roasted their own beans. We ordered two simple dishes that should be quick and easy to deliver. Spaghetti bolognese shouldn't be dry with the colour of dirty dish water. A spinach dish that looked like roadkill, and service that was given with such a pompous attitude that it reminded me of faulty towers. I was made to feel guilty that I asked for bread and oil for the table, and as for black pepper or parmigiana, you'd have thought I'd insulted his mama and questioned if he was an illegitimate child. This was far from disappointing. This was something you'd expect from a cheap backstreet cafe in Calais. Not only did they let themselves down, they also let down their country. Italy is a fabulous place, but these jokers have no right to call themselves Italian. Avoid...
Read moreHorrendous meal. I had the caprese salad to start and it was ok, then I had the Spaghetti Aglio Olio, which was where the trouble started, don't get me wrong, I like spice, but this was unbelievable! It was inedible to the point that my lips were burning! I notified the waitress, and she took it away, no apology, no alternative. Nothing. So me and my friend continued with our evening and then shortly went to pay. I was told it was my fault for ordering it, and they did nothing wrong refusing to take it off my bill. The woman on the till was clearly agitated, and the staff were incredibly rude. Blamed me for not having a suitable meal, and I was forced to pay €30 for some bread as my dinner. Safe to say, I was livid walking out. I was offered no alternative, no discount, no apology! Would absolutely steer clear!! Worst restaurant I think I've...
Read moreWe decided to have dinner at that restaurant. We were seated and had to wait half an hour to get menues. Couldnvt decide on the ravioli ragout or the seafood risotto. Waitress recommended the seafood risotto. My oartner had the minostrone and baked potatoes (both in the first entree menue).
The waitress xame after about another half hour and askes me if I will be willing to get the soaghetti with seafood and not the risotto. I told her I'd rather have the ravioli then.
5 minutes later another waitress came with the risotto.
The minoatrone and baked potatoes were all appetizers and NOT entres. Ecspecially the potatoes were a joke, 3,50€ for the small size is astronomical.
The seafood risotto wasn't the best.
And we had to wait again a long time...
