Jaa Nu' Rosticceria Vegana — Restaurant in Genoa

Super delicious, healthy vegan food. Most options are in the style of Italian antipasti. Tofu (from Taifun), an extremely tasty vegan mozzarella, and various vegan spreads are also available. You can eat in the store or outside, or take-away. So we mostly enjoyed the food at home on our roof terrace. This is one of only three stores in Genoa that offer vegan food. It's also very advantageous that this store is open all day at lunchtime, so you don't have to rely on the restrictive opening hours of restaurants in Italy. Very bad experience after reading so many good reviews!! As a non italian speaker felt rejected altough the girl working there clearly understood and even spoke english I ordered the food by pointing it out and even clearly saying in italian and english what i wanted i said zucchini she gave me carrots i said stop she just continued adding more probably because of the fact that its a pay by weight system She clearly ignored me while i was saying that it was enough She didnt even weight my food and simply made me pay 15 euros which is way too much Especially when i saw that people who had way more than me only paid 10 euros Definitely dont recommend...

I checked this place out back in May and I got the “Cannelloni bianchi con ripieno di borragini e tofu” and the “Seitan saltato con cipolla rossa, melanzane e salsa agrodolce”. I didn’t enjoy the first dish, it was missing something, on the other hand the second dish was quite tasty and a nice combination of flavours.

Serves only vegan options Overpriced Some things aren’t very tasty Inefficient location (when there are a lot of clients a huge line forms outside, the roads are pretty thin so people end up blocking the streets)
