Came here on the off chance as the Mrs wanted pizza. We were a little early for dinner, but they welcomed us and allowed us to order drinks, and as soon as the kitchen was ready, they came to take our order. The Mrs has been talking about a pizza she had years ago and has never seen recently. It was on the menu 😋. So it was ordered and meatballs for me. Expecting the memory to be better than the reality, I was waiting for her response. "Wow, best pizza ever" was the response. She loved it, and it was exactly what she wanted. My meatballs in tomato sauce were excellent, too! The service was excellent, quick, but not obtrusive. Cannot be faulted and highly recommended. So good we came back 3 nights in a row, including her birthday evening!

Had three visits to this place. Tried the cheese board, it was all local cheeses. Don't forget to order the burrata, it's right there in the middle of the photos with pistachos on the top, you won't be disappointed. The tray was properly explained. Then we tried the pasta with mint cream and the gnocchi al pesto both were interesting. For our second dish we shared a pizza (there is a nice viriety), we did not make it to dessert because we were stuffed... We came back later for the fig traditional cake and some coffee. On the third visit we tried the grilled meat platter to share with local sausages and some more burrata cheese. Don't forget to pick you a nice bottle of primitivo or Negroamaro.

Probably one of the few restaurants staying true to the origins of Puglia. We had a table with no reservation and by 9:30 pm people were queuing outside. Very good customer service (a pleasant surprise for the area, with English speaking staff). The food was delicious and so was the wine. Would highly recommend to those wanting to try some traditional food. Not so much into the tourist traps “seafood” or “pizza”, try the authentic dishes.

Ci tornerei? no.

We were visiting Lecce and decided to have lunch here, it seemed a little less crowded and had ample indoor dining, we recommend the burrata with sun-dried tomatoes olive pesto and roasted pistachios as a starter, orrechiette with eggplant, scamorza and tomatoes and the pizza was also. The pizza is well cooked and good quality. Price-quality is great here, will try to come back, nice staff, thank you!

The restaurant was fine. It’s more of a restaurant in my opinion. I had the salmon which was OK. It was made with pistachios and mustard. We also had the Barada. I didn’t think it’s good as it should be, but it was still OK. We also had a pizza which was good and we had a pasta dish that was supposed to have seafood in it. We didn’t see any but that’s the way they make it. Oh all it was good enough.
